    So many covers of Black Hole Sun. How anybody can sing "no one sings like you anymore" without crying is beyond me...

    It's so weird how a line in a song can suddenly take on a completely different meaning.  And to be fair, from the tributes so far, with respect to these artists, none of them have really reached his level - I'm really not sure who could, for a singer to posess that range and imbue it with that kind of emotion is incredibly rare.

    Fwiw Train just dropped a pretty damn decent tribute of Black Hole Sun during its encore tonight in Austin.

    Heard Chris Thile on Prairie Home tonight sing a good rendition of Black Hole Son. No audio or video yet, but you can listen to rebroadcasts of the episode on their website. It was at the end of the show.
