Definitely not the same one you live in! We both probably agree on that!

Going to any of the shows?
  • unsungunsung Posts: 9,487
No, didn't even bid on any.  Thought about Chicago but then I found out I will be on the east coast for training for work.  Truthfully they were a little pricey too.

I mean that contribution was so valuable.  Right before hitting *post comment* did it even slightly occur to make an argument to back up that statement or was it just a hail mary?
huh. might of thought being on the receiving end so often and trying to keep things on topic and away from the personal would have been a motivator. guess not.

We believe it will be, currently it is classified by most governments as a commodity.  I thought I heard that Arizone was looking to let people use it to pay some taxes and Wyoming might be looking at not taxing it.

I don't. I don't like people jumping into threads and doing something that could result in a thread being shut down. If the mods just deleted a post and banned the user I wouldn't give 2 shits what you say to someone. Then it would just be your problem. But the mods use the nuclear solution to a sniper issue and lock threads, meaning the rest of us pay for your outburst. I thought the AMT weed thread was going to be closed  a couple of days ago for something similar. How about just telling someone to f themselves via PM? Or not rising to the bait at all?

    Please read the rules
    http://community.pearljam.com/discussion/228366/forum-posting-guidelines

    Posting Guidelines

    1. Be nice. We're very big on RESPECT here. Respect for each other, the band and the Ten Club Community forum environment. Please think of it as if you are as a guest in someone else's home. Please do not put your posting privileges at risk.

    2. Discuss, disagree and debate politely. It's possible to disagree with people without being abusive, and it's a requirement here. This includes abusive Private Messages.

    a. We operate on the "I'm rubber, you're glue" philosophy so if you make a wonderful, thoughtful post with good points and call the other guy a moron while you're at it, it'll be removed. See #3.

    3. There are people bashing and insulting each other all over the internet. We feel it can be better here.

Discuss the topic, not the people discussing the topic. No personal comments. Look your comments over before hitting Submit and be sure you're debating THE TOPIC.

Organized criminals use cash too.  Should that be illegal?

What organized criminals use cash to transfer child pornography online? Did you think I meant that all things organized criminals might use should be illegal? That's not what I meant. I very simply meant that the chances are good that organized criminals are using blockchain technology to move child porn around. I don't know why you felt the need to respond to that with sarcasm.

Because the constant attack and attempted discrediting of future use of blockchain.

Maybe I should have instead compared it to the internet.  Do the same, find out who put it there and prosecute them.  Saying blockchain should be illegal would be like making the internet illegal.

The difference is now the banking industrial complex is being threatened.

And it could be said, even has been proven, that banks enable drug trafficking and terrorist activities.

You seem to take these things quite personally. This is just a perspective based on facts, really (and "blockchain" and "internet" really aren't the same thing now, are they?). I wonder how you'd react to any random news about it if you didn't own any bitcoin?
