Guiliani's interview on Fox and Friends and Hannity was just hysterical.  He didn't "slip up" on this, it's their defense.  It also shows they think the campaign finance issue is a big deal.  Here are the bullets:
    1. Trump reimbursed Cohen
    2. Trump did it because he was worried about the damage to his "family" with another false accusation
    3. Trump was still being honest when he said he had no idea.  This is because he alleges that the money came out of Cohen's 35k per month retainer fee
Obviously this is a pack of lies, but this appears to be the official story that they are going with.  But of course this will likely not alleviate any campaign finance charges.

Anyone else want to go in on me with a false allegation against the president? Seems like a quick and easy $130,000 pay day!

He didn’t collude.  Hillary just lost.  The pain hurts badly and even the experts said it couldn’t be done...

But after she loses they they have to blame someone other than reality... must be collusion, they CAN be tampered with!

our own article and Obama’s quotes that it was impossible were all fake news!

It's possible that Trump and co. conspired with a foreign gov't and it can also be true that she just lost.  They can be exclusive statements.  But that doesn't mean that it's okay to conspire with a foreign gov't and have knowledge of a crime, such as hacking into emails of a political operation.  If they knew, regardless of the impact, that must be punished.

Had Chelsea Clinton met with a Kremlin affiliated lawyer on the promise of receiving incriminating info about Trump, failed to notify the FBI of the meeting, and lied about the meeting ever taking place for a solid year, it would be viewed as proof positive by many on the Right that the Clintons "colluded."

How do you justify your first sentence, knowing what we know now regarding the previously denied and eventually mischaracterized meetings, contacts, relationships and indictments of US citizens and Russian nationalists? Team Mueller is “spear fishing” which indicates to me that there is a whole lot of “There” there.

Pompeo: I will make sure America is always respected

Yesterday, Mike Pompeo took the oath of office as America’s 70th Secretary of State. President Trump used the occasion to introduce Secretary Pompeo to America’s diplomatic corps. “Mike is a true American patriot. He has devoted many years of his life to defending America,” the President said.

Secretary Pompeo laid out his vision for America in the world. “We will employ tough diplomacy when necessary to put the interests of the American people first,” he said. “I will work to ensure their safety, to preserve their rights, and defend their values. And I will make sure America is always a respected and principled leader on the world stage.”

“They have such respect for him” at the CIA, where Pompeo previously served as Director, President Trump said. “They may be the only people that are not very happy right now,” the President joked. “But they’ll be happy. They’ll be happy with our Gina, who’s here today.” Acting CIA Director Gina Haspel is President Trump’s nominee to replace Pompeo at the CIA on a full-time basis.

Sorry, but our CIC and your boss, Team Trump Treason, prevents that from happening, no matter how hard you try Mikey Baby.

That’s the interesting thing. People on the cabinet who have any ethics and belief system related to working for the country as a whole have a difficult time because trump himself is a threat to the country. It would be a tricky line to walk when your boss goes against the values that you’re supposed to uphold.

I'm sure Giuliani's interview was something Trump and Giuliani orchestrated. They needed to get Trump in front of things that they now know Mueller knows. It sounds like the Feds had been tapping Cohen's phones for weeks leading up to the raid. So I'm guessing they've already got Trump on phone calls regarding the Stormy payment. So at this point Team Trump didn't really have anything to lose by looking like they're being forthcoming. The good news is that Mueller has this info and much more. Additionally, this revelation also sets Trump up for a violation of federal campaign finance laws by admitting to filing a false financial disclosure. Trump is cornered and caught in his web of lies. He now has to figure out what exactly Mueller knows, and which lies will result in the least amount of punishment and stick to those.

You're exactly right on the false disclosure.  They are weighing consequences at this point.  Problem is that Mueller and team aren't stupid.  They will find the truth, no matter what BS is on Fox News.

Sounds like it, but they sure are doing a shit job of the whole thing. Which seems to be par for the course with anything Trump related.

The A team of lawyers is mostly out so now we have the F team in, which I suspect are mostly yes men. Trump in full charge, we get to see his true unchecked brilliance.

The problem is it's easy to get everyone on the same page with the truth.  But when you lie, people get confused.  And then you lie more...everyone gets tangled up in the lies and can't keep things straight.  This is so obvious.

That’s what I figured happened with Giuliani. That he came in with a plan, but his brain isn’t what it used to be (which probably wasn’t 100% to begin with) and jumbled up the plan with the pressure of tv and trying to keep the lies in order.

Trump would have been well-served never having any of those lawyers and just having Stormy's.  That guy's taking Trump's guys to school.

That’s the thing with an insecure incompetent narcissist. They aren’t going to hire someone more skilled and intelligent, and also, those people are going to want to work for him anyway. It’s a career killer.

The article I posted about McMaster clearly stated from several sources that Team Trump Treason automatically doesn't like the smartest guy in the room. How do you advise that? At the least, you want your NSC director to be the smartest guy in the room. Not Team Trump Treason, he's smarter than all of his generals. McMaster being a 3 star by the way. And to think some on here believe Team Trump Treason isn't guilty or is going to somehow out fox Team Mueller or leave the world a better place than when he found it? Oh yea, MAGA.
