    Oh this is only the beginning of making America great again after the greatest first term in history....everyone involved needs to face swift and severe punishment or this will never be under control.  Moving “forward together” with these POSs is just going to make them try even harder and actually succeed next time.  All this hollow talk about moving on and reaching across the aisle has got to stop.

    What will be interesting to find out is if this storming of the Capitol was planned by tRump.  Remember the Proud Boys leader was at the WH a few weeks ago.  That leads to wondering whether or not the leadership of the capitol police were involved.

    I'm not into conspiracies but they seemed to be massively underprepared for something they should have known might happen.

    Lawrence O'Donnell said something interesting last night.  Of course he was a senior aide on Capitol Hill for years, so he would know.  Anyway he was talking about how Capitol Police are not a fighting force.  It was a comparison to say the type of cops who man a court house at city hall.  It was a nice way of saying "kind of old and out of shape".  And if you look at the footage inside the building, that definitely appears to be the case.  They look middle age and round.

    I dont know where we go from here.  These throngs of people arent going away.  Will they be able to organize and perform seditious acts?  I think so.  i fear that sometime soon, we will see a governor's mansion or statehouse rushed by one of these armed militias and we will see some real bloodshed on national Television.  IMO we got off really easy yesterday, and I am hoping it is enough to jolt a lot of these Republican coddlers and enablers back to the realm of responsibility and respect for our country and governance.

    Trump's voice will certainly be diminished in 2 weeks time when he doesn't hold the office of the POTUS.  He will also lose the limitless resources he has enjoyed.  Judging by all the weirdos yesterday sporting Trump apparel, there seems to be a good fundraising opportunity open to him.  Rallies will be fewer and far between though, and his voice will be harder to find.

    What we need is the Republicans who hold office, as well as those with self respect for themselves and respect for the USA to denounce and distance themselves from this mob of turds.  It will create a civil war within their party, and likely another party would form.  But it would also put an end of this current path and the mainstreaming of dangerous fantasy conspiracy theories built on demonization which will destroy the country.  The next trump, whether him, one of his kids, or someone who is younger, slimmer, and speaks better will be here in 2024 and we will no longer be a democracy.

    Yeah that is probably a good point.  I still can't believe this wasn't expected.  The DC police or some other unit should have been all over this.

    I was hearing a lot of talk about the day the protest crowd was cleared so tRump could do his bible picture.  That seemed to get organized rather quickly.
