    I don't know who is responsible for security at the Capitol, but what a complete failure to not be prepared for chaos today, especially knowing everything was culminating today. They should have had law enforcement/national guard already there. No way should a bunch of morons waving Trump flags be able to breach that building.
    It's a hopeless situation...

    back on july 27th, trump tweeted that any "protestors who vandalize or damage...any federal buildings in any of our cities and states, will be prosecuted....minimum 10 years in prison". 
    Hugh Freaking Dillon is currently out of the office, returning sometime in the fall

    Yeah, and today he is just politely asking people to respect the police. Pence did his dirty work though and tweeted prosecution will happen to the fullest extent of the law...

    I don't want to even get in to this, but comparing people protesting for the recorded murder of an unarmed man at the hands of law enforcement and people breaking in to the capitol because of conspiracy theories and unsubstantiated voter fraud are almost comparable...
    It's a hopeless situation...
