    When I saw this on Tuesday, I knew we were in for quite the rally.

    Two things...
    This setup seemed illegalAF.

    Appeals court keeps Flynn case alive, won't order dismissal

    WASHINGTON (AP) — A federal appeals court won't order the dismissal of the Michael Flynn prosecution, permitting a judge to scrutinize the Justice Department's request to dismiss its case against the former Trump administration national security adviser.

    The decision keeps the matter at least temporarily alive and rejects efforts by both Flynn's lawyers and the Justice Department to force the prosecution to be dropped without any further hearings from the judge.

    Federal prosecutors moved in May to dismiss the prosecution even though Flynn himself had pleaded guilty and admitted lying to the FBI during the Russia investigation about his contacts with a Moscow diplomat. After a judge refused to immediately dismiss the case, his lawyers asked a federal appeals court to step in and force him to do so.

    At issue before the court was whether U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan could be forced to grant the Justice Department's request without even holding a hearing to scrutinize the basis for the request.

    “We have no trouble answering that question in the negative,” the court wrote in an unsigned opinion.

    Flynn was the only person charged in special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation who had been a White House official. Mueller's probe investigated ties between the 2016 Trump campaign and Russia.

    Those are outrageous shift numbers.  5-10 points is basically 5 to 10 million voters that shift.  5 points in 'shy Trump voter' is 5 million.  I'm not sure I completely buy the polls tightening quite yet.  I've seen a little movement, but nothing significant in the stuff out this week.  So while I agree the violence is a net negative on Biden, these numbers seem large.  The reason I see it as a net negative is that moving attention to unrest from COVID is definitely a positive for Trump, even if Biden is able to blunt the argument like he did yesterday.

    I think they are tightening a little. We expected that. But some good ones out for Biden this morning, especially showing him up 10 in WI and this was done AFTER last week's nonsense. There has not been any live calling polls since the conventions and they're the most reliable. Supposed to get them soon though. 

    Nate Silver was saying he doesn't necessarily buy that the rioting and stuff will help Trump because when it started in June, Trump's numbers dropped the more he inserted himself into the issue. But you never know. Biden needs to do more of what he did yesterday. 

    Silver was also saying he doesn't put a lot of "stock" in the betting markets because they're like Vegas kind of...just setting the line to drum up action. Good time to buy Biden!

    Right.  Of all the times where media bias of any kind can be easily ignored it's this one.  Just listen to straight up video of trump.  Unedited video of him.  If you can and still want to vote for him..........you are either 1) Racist 2) An idiot 3) a fake christian 4) Care more about guns and/or abortion then every other issue combined including human decency 5) Only care about your team winning...not even know what that means other than winning elections.
