While making a speech and signing an 'order' to incentive the elimination of choke holds from training, Trump declares school choice "the civil rights issue of the decade..probably beyond".  Is he fucking kidding?  He's such a numbnuts I can't even believe it.

    https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/502961-trump-calls-school-choice-the-civil-rights-issue-of-the-decade

sounds like drunk moron trying to speak intelligently on a topic he knows nothing about.  So basically every time he speaks.

I bet his aides cringe when he deviates from the teleprompter.  You can always tell when he repeats phrases and looks away from the screen...or he says "nobody thought that would happen" or "many people are saying".

This BS about school choice is just straight up idiocy.

538’s gap is at 14.7. Expect to see rats flee a stinking shit. Tulsa should be unhinged. Word on the street.
Tulsa's gonna increase that gap. Biden doesn't even have to campaign at this point. Just sit back and let Trump remind American how much he repulses us. Energize that base! Turn off everyone else.

People (like the Trump campaign) are trying to pressure Biden into campaigning in the open.  Huge mistake.  When your opponent is beating themselves, just let him keep going.  The election is referendum on Trump, pure and simple.  Let it stay that way.

Who here is headed to Tulsa for the rah, rah, rah? C’mon now, only a 7 hour drive from Austin and an 18 hour drive from the Badger State. Go hear the band in the foyer, yo.
Only way I’m driving to Tulsa is if pj plays a show and I win the birthday challenge
Being anywhere near this rally sounds like the absolute worst thing in the world.  It's everything that I don't like about this country, all rolled up together.

The idiots who believe his lies and still support him and will vote for him no matter what

I love him tweeting about a 96% approval rating with republicans.

Republicans make up 29% of registered voters.  So that's about 28% of the country that approves.  Not even a 300 hitter.

There’s too many elections in the US, dontcha know? Many, many people have told Team Trump Treason that there’s too many elections and that 4 year terms are too short. In fact, many very fine smart people have told him that terms for POTUS should be 8, 16 even 24 years and that it would be a beautiful thing, a very beautiful thing if they were elongated. 4 years is too tiny, very tiny. 24 year terms seems about right, even the Founding Fathers thought so, or I’ve been told.

Well, for one thing, I think we're pretty desensitized by stories like this now.  This won't move the needle a bit.

Considering the president's cratering approval numbers, I will disagree with this. And, as much as I hoped Bolton would testify, I think the book coming out now could actually help matters more than if he testified or if the book came out months ago. Trump was never going to be removed from office. Bolton testifying would've likely made a few more republicans vote for removal which would've made the impeachment a bigger deal than it was.

But the book coming out now, at a time when the country is coming to terms with what a terrible person and president this guy is, will just further cement this into people's heads as we get closer and closer to 11/3.

Of course, the fact that Trump is doing everything he can to prevent the book from coming out just further emphasizes how damaging it is to his administration.

It just feels to me like something that's going to get lost in the shuffle.

As for Bolton, you may be right that this could turn out more impactful.  But still, fuck him for holding this back and selling a book.

I think it will.  There's a real anti-China thing happening now, and you have him accused of colluding with Xi?  His team has been trying to call Biden pro-Trump, that just got harder.  I think the the drip drip continues to erode support, little by little.  There's no groundswell but it's one thing after another.
