In extended fiery remarks, Gov. Andrew Cuomo responds to attack from Donald Trump: "First of all, If he's sitting home watching TV, maybe he should get up and go to work, right?"

Part of it near the end and yes, I found it to be compelling on a personal level because he's very human and entirely sane, as opposed to.....

He's calling for open armed rebellion.

    He should be ARRESTED.
    Stirring shit as usual.

any one of us can go to jail for this. this is inciting violence against the state.

    he needs to go. yesterday.

i pray for his political demise every day, and he keeps getting worse and worse. these tweets have been reported, and jack will of course do nothing about it because trump makes twitter money.

who wants to bet the press pool does not ask him about this? if they do, he will say it is a nasty question and chastise the reporter and their employer. or even better, he will deny doing the tweets.
Sorry he isn’t advocating for an armed revolution.  He is advocating that his supporters continue what they are doing, which so far is walking around like idiots and open carrying which is protected in the constitution for overweight white guys. Last I checked it was legal to organize and protest even if you are a trump supporter.

I agree.  I also think it shows his cowardice.  He won't reopen the country,  but he eggs on those that push for it,  trying to create grass roots pressure.  Some leader.

Good luck using the non essential activity argument against people that think they are protecting their constitutional rights. Because non Essential or no it is protected behavior.

Don Trump is an authoritarian wanna-be.  Fear is what he's advocating.  At least 5 doses of chaos a day.

The divided states of intimidation.   SWEET.

Not to single anyone out but Open carry is for impotent LOSERS.  I said it.

If he's gonna carry that, I wanna know who he's gonna shoot with that.  Local cops?  State police?  Legislators?  Random LIBS?  WTF.

Mr. Trump’s tweets began just moments after a Fox News report by Mike Tobin, a reporter for the network, about protests in Minnesota and elsewhere. The report featured a protester from Virginia saying “those of us who are healthy and want to get out of our house and do business, we need to get this going again. It’s time.

I can't imagine a more irresponsible thing for a president to do, during a pandemic, than sending those tweets this morning. I'd say we have a couple weeks or so before we see reports of those idiots contracting this damn virus...and, of course, they'll spread it countless others.

But, yeah, by all means continue to compare him to one out of context video of Pelosi from February when the nonsense is non stop out of the oval office.

These folks that want to go out and about their business because it’s time should go to the end of the line for medical attention if and when they need it.

Are the armed protestors protesting during a pandemic “responsible” gun owners? Asking for a friend.

did anybody see cuomo's response to trump today?

If the timing had worked out differently (say the virus being a year, or even six months, earlier), I think Cuomo would be running against Trump right now, which would be better for a few reasons.

It'd be interesting to trace everyone there and see how many contract the virus. All these idiots will bring it back to whatever backwater community they came from.

The news is already stating the virus is now moving into more rural areas of the country.

Continually amazed at the stupidity of these people...
