probably because the gop has to ALWAYS stick some anti abortion legislation on to every single bill that gets crafted. both sides find it impossible to craft clean bills, ever.

We definitely agree it is disgusting, but I do not see it as being the fault of one side more so than the other. If this were the case there would not be a fairly equal distribution of supporters across the board. There are very specific things that are deal breakers for supporting each side and those deal breakers are lines that morally can't be crossed for many. This doesn't mean the other side is evil, it just means they value ideals differently. These parties need to stop catering only to their followers and figure out how you bridge the gaps. Our current status is one of division and neither side can escape the blame for causing the majority of it.

there will be no bridging of the gaps until we get a president who decides he wants to be president of all of us instead of just his base, which is 34% of the entire population.

Joe Biden appears to be re-enacting the title role of Weekend at Bernie's.  He's probably further down the path to dementia (and certainly has less energy) than Trump.  I am only going to vote for him because of Trump.

I find RS just okay.  It's very left wing, which is fine, but it doesn't try to draw any balance whatsoever.  You can be factual but still overly biased.  National Review is a great example of that.  NRO is more opinion and less expose than RS, but I put them generally in the same category.  NRO doesn't peddle lies and propaganda, they just have a particular viewpoint, like RS.
