    Correct. The WaPo article specifically mentioned these were notes based on those present in the room. Even a word for word transcript is light years different than hearing the actual audio and how he framed the things mentioned.
    It's a hopeless situation...

    Mueller was long, complex, and the report was underwhelming.  This is an easier to follow situation, it's fresh, no indy counsel.  Last, maybe most importantly, it was done as the president.  He is doing this in official capacity which is corrupt on its face.  I do believe voting Americans can distinguish the two.

    Originally we had a president failing to protect our elections by holding a foreign adversary accountable for election meddling in 2016.

    Now we have a president asking a foreign country to participate in election meddling in an upcoming election.  

    Both awful.  1st one is the offense I wish would have him removed, but I'll settle for the 2nd.

    Because the DOJ says there's nothing to prosecute?  I don't think the DOJ decision matters one iota.  First, the DOJ is overtly political.  Second, the DOJ declined on criminal charges.  Impeachment articles are not limited to criminal activity nor is the burden of proof "beyond a reasonable doubt".  So the DOJ decision means literally nothing.

    You know folks, people try tampering. They say oh I’ll just smudge the truth a bit here. I say they’re not going far enough.
