Hanson.  Middle of nowhere, 1997, featuring the blockbuster single “mmmm bop.”
I'm like an opening band for your mom.
  • No Code, Sailing the Seas of Cheese, Pork Soda, Yield
  • The Wall
    Zeppelin II
    Stadium Arcadium
    Tattoo You
    Goodbye Yellow Brick Road

    * Impossible to nail one and there are several I could add (including Ten)... but my vote would be for The Wall if forced to.

Too many depending on what type of music I want to listen to, but these are timeless albums to me that I listen to over and over again.

The Beatles - Sgt. Peppers & Abbey Road
    Metallica - Master of Puppets
    PJ - Vitalogy
    Michael Jackson - Thriller
    Led Zeppelin II and IV
    Soundgarden - Superunknown
    Tool - Aenema
Jimi Hendrix - Are You Experienced
    Prince - Purple Rain

    It's a hopeless situation...

    Still OK Computer for me.

(The first five PJ albums would all likely be in my top 10, however.)

    Lots of good choices.

But in my opinion, the best album ever is Miles Davis' "Kind of Blue."

And it should go without saying that the greatest musical work ever is Beethoven's 9th. :-)

Well to think of up to only 3 is a real challenge, as it seems most people have found out. I would go for, (if not choosing pearl jam):

Echoes, Slience, Patience and Grace (Think this is the only Foo's so far!!!!!!!!)

Dark Side and Automatic (as many have already picked)

Hard to fathom that 1or both of Physical Graffiti or Quadrophenia wouldn't be top 10. I'll remind myself as I often do that music is a subjective thing. And thanks for the link to that site

You can't put Physical Graffiti ahead of ZepIV,
    Ummnnnn no.

    Achtung Baby

That's my choice for best album of the 90's (yes, even including PJ, sorry). It's just about perfect.
