That's ok, you and rgambs cancel each other's vote out because you both voted backwards

In Hiding and Nothing as it Seems should easily win the next two albums

Very curious to see how the polls will go for Riot Act through Lightning Bolt

Agree on In Hiding. For Binarual I'll take Of the Girl or Light Years ahead of NAIS. But I'm not often with the crowd on these things.
Everyone listens to Pearl Jam in their own way. Vote how you feel.
OTG and NAIS should not be mentioned in the same sentence however.
If you want to talk about snooze fests NAIS takes the cake.
I like both NAIS and In Hiding, but they would not be my top pick for either album. Faithfull should give GTF and DTE a run for the money. Binaural is a toss up between about 4 songs for me. Hopefully it comes down to Grievance and Parting Ways.

No Code, Yield and Binaural will be the hardest stretch of this voting I think. Binaural is my personal favorite album from the band. Lyrically it's really strong and musically in regards to song composition, it's really solid. Sleight of Hand, Light Years, Parting Ways and Of the Girl would be a nearly impossible final round for me.

Up here In My Tree I second that notion:

If you do Lost Dogs, it might be a good idea to split it up by disc.

But then you gotta get into LEATHERMAN, SOLAT etc.

I'm still baffled why Leatherman was omitted from Lost Dogs. Someone must of screwed up.

    Unpopular opinion alert!!
I'll take In My Tree in the studio, but give me Present Tense at a show.

Not unpopular. That's a pretty sane opinion.
I'm with you. Meant it more in jest. Seems like lately, any opinion is a potentially unpopular one. Especially in these threads. That might be my favorite about them! I might preface all my comments that way from now on, just in case.

Are people seriously already crowning NAIS as Binaural champ? Really? So many great tunes on that album and THAT'S the one you all think is the best? WTF?

NAIS is boring but Parting Ways (a song even slower and monotone than NAIS) is the best song? Does not compute.

Jeez, we'd get along splendidly. Parting Ways is easily my favourite on Binuaral, as well.

(Although I think NAIS is a pretty cool tune, as well).

Agree on all points. I'll throw Sleight of Hand in there as well. Amazing lyrics on that song.

I dunno. If one thinks NAIS is boring, I would of thought they'd feel the same way about Sleight of Hand.

Agreed. I don't hate it but it's more off a driving-along-in-a-car-by-yourself-at-night kind of tune.

Beautiful soulful songs that you can really feel. I'd include Thin Air and Of the Girl in that group as well. They're the kind of songs you can just lose yourself to, especially live. That's why I love Binaural so much, you can really feel the songs and the emotion behind them. Ed was in the zone after he got past that writer's block.
