The only benefit is see from this is that maybe it would be easier to catch all the politicians with child pornography and inappropriate behavior thru the internet...
As if online privacy has just begun to be an issue...

Nope. I have already made changes to secure my online identity. You can too if you so desired.
if Obama had done this, you'd be flipping your lid.
Hugh Freaking Dillon is currently out of the office, returning sometime in the fall after a very restful summer exploring the Great Canadian Wilderness and beaches, listening to Pearl Jam, Headstones, Watchmen, Queens of the Stone Age, and many others.

I e-mailed my senator Toomey about this, got a BS response back saying why he supported it, I think he blamed Obama somewhat for putting this in motion. Oh btw he also took $144,000 to vote this way. There's a site that shows how much each Senator and House member took to vote to approve this. Check it out: http://www.theverge.com/2017/3/29/15100620/congress-fcc-isp-web-browsing-privacy-fire-sale

It would be great if it was just a line item on my internet bill: $35 internet services -$5 selling your porn watching data to Sony Music $30 due

That would be great! If my data has value, then I should be compensated for it, or in lieu of direct compensation receive a subsidy or discounted rate from my ISP.
