That's cool that it's RSD first. So no need to break ones back trying to track one down. V.cool of PJ. That's the way RSD should be. Things should be more widely available later.

Glad to see the DMB Red Rocks is a RSD first also. I don't care anything about the silver vinyl. Will wait for the black. That is how I have all the other Live Trax releases anyway.

Nice to have another Pearl Jam 7" in the collection though the band name looks like something from a bootleg.

Don't worry, the website will break when PJ releases it.

Is that what first release means? That it will be readily available, just maybe not on colored vinyl?

The DMB releases from years past...were they in such low numbers as this year's RSD?
    2500 doesn't seem like a lot.
I remember there being a good amount of leftovers for his last RSD release.

2500 is a lot. You will be able to find it easy. Live Trax 1 was 500 and that is the only one that goes for a lot more than retail. The rest go for not much more than retail now.

I think Live Trax 5 was limited to 2,000 units. As you said, it sat on shelves after RSD.

Red Rocks will have higher demand I think, but I would think it won't be impossible to get the RSD release.

But I'm also glad there will be a black version. I think my LT collection is half color/half black.

The black will likely be a Warehouse exclusive.

I wouldn't think it would be hard to get at all. Learning that DMB and PJ are both RSD 1st... pretty much told me to take it easy and stay home.

If there were, then why would you go to the record store on RSD? RSD is the worst day of the whole year to actually go to the Record Store :) If everything on the list was available to buy later, I'd never go on RSD :)

I can't wait to eventually get this! Brings back great memories.
I made it to the finals of a radio contest lasting a month in 2001 answering questions about Pearl Jam against other people.
The final question was a beat the buzzer one, "What two songs does Pearl Jam sing that were on a movie that they made an appearance in"?
There were 3 or 4 others on stage (I can't remember how many because at the time I knew I was going to win), it was at the Sticky Wicket in Victoria, BC and I answered in my microphone before he even finished the question. Needless to say I won $500, a ferry to Seattle and 2tix for the show at the Key Arena. The radio announcer didn't even know the movie I was talking about. As a bonus I got to visit the OK café.

Damn think i might have been there, was it in the room at the top of the stairs just outside the games room?
    Yes it was!!!!
Damn the good old days. Was it The Zone? I remember when they first started, won so many things from them.
I want to say The Edge for some reason but it probably was the zone. The gold old days damn.

Would a very very very kind American Jammer who has a fondness for a fellow Jammer in England be as kind as to purchase one and post to this side of the pond?

Sorry if this has been discussed already but are these remixed versions of the tracks on The Singles soundtrack (or rearviewmirror compilation)?

I would believe the audio is from the upcoming Singles Soundtrack '17 reissue release.

This is gonna be my first time getting involved with RSD. How long has this been a "day"?

Has PJ always put something out for this day?

Also...it seems like people are saying 5,000 is a high amount available. You're telling me that only 5,000 people in America would want this? To me, that seems low.

Been a day for about 10 years... And, no, Pearl Jam has not put out something every year. Theres usually at least a PJ-related something, but not always strictly PJ. As for the 5000... Im not a ton interested just cause the songs will be out on the Singles soundtrack reissue, so if you didn't have them on an original Singles soundtrack from way back, you can pick up the reissue and have your vinyl version easily. Im more interested in the Alice In Chains double 7"... though that's not new music either, and a run of 4000... :anguished:

Other than very die-hard PJ fans who also collect vinyl, who will want this?
If it was any other band I wouldn't care to buy a 7" single of something that will be released on an album a month later.
5,000 seems like enough to fit that bill to me.

I used to understand but don't understand anymore why anyone would want a vinyl single of songs they've heard a 1,000 times before and have multiple other formats of.
