    I tried not to throw anyone under the bus and give someone the benefit of the doubt but, sadly I was also a victim of him attempting to sell an item to me, taking the money from me and then going dark.

    Sucks.

    X2 I would never asked someone to pay otherwise, it protects both parties.

    Wonder if the software they're using for the website would let them setup a feedback system for each user, like vbulletin does?

    Ugh, this is depressing to hear. I have accepted and paid using friends/family designation. Anytime I sell something I always give the choice to the buyer with the Friends/Family option being slightly discounted since fees aren't involved. I can do that with confidence because I'm the only one who knows 100% that I won't rip anyone off, but make sure you completely trust the person if sending F/F. If you have the slightest doubt, don't do it. Also always a good deal to ask around to find out a buyers rep.

    I actually do F&F if I know them. If I don't then I pay the % fees myself.
