I still don't like using the 25th because of the future implications and the damage it would do to democracy. trump is being trump and performing exactly as was expected. This is what the voters wanted, so that part has to be respected. There's also plenty of other impeachment routes that are much cleaner.

I tend to agree. His followers/cult and maybe even a lot of the ambivalent folks would view it as usurping democracy. As ugly and divided as we are now, it would get worse.
I honestly hope he just gets through his four years and does not run. Yeah, I'd miss some of the satisfaction of him going out more disgracefully, but it sounds like a good offer. If he runs again, he probably wins. If he resigns Nixon-style, his cult goes ape and probably gets Richard Spencer or someone elected.

I agree, though his behavior was a controlled brand of chaos and if it gets out of control that's a concern.
The investigation was ultimately supervised by then-U.S. Attorney Rod Rosenstein, an Obama appointee who now serves as President Trump’s deputy attorney general, and then-Assistant FBI Director Andrew McCabe, now the deputy FBI director under Trump, Justice Department documents show.
Both men now play a key role in the current investigation into possible, but still unproven collusion between Russia and Donald Trump’s campaign during the 2016 election. McCabe is under congressional and Justice Department inspector general investigation in connection with money his wife’s Virginia state Senate campaign accepted in 2015 from now-Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe at a time when McAuliffe was reportedly under investigation by the FBI.
The connections to the current Russia case are many. The Mikerin probe began in 2009 when Robert Mueller, now the special counsel in charge of the Trump case, was still FBI director. And it ended in late 2015 under the direction of then-FBI Director James Comey, who Trump fired earlier this year.

And your point is? That Trump’s Russian collusion was/is an Obama plot? Funny place to start your cut and paste. Context. But that said, 7Xs. Must be some news ready to drop.

JC's point is the same it always is:
Both sides are bad aka Whataboutism (fka whataboutery) variant of the tu quoque logical fallacy
an attempt to discredit an opponent's position by charging them with hypocrisy without directly refuting or disproving their argument
particularly associated with Soviet and Russian propaganda

Da da da dumb. Da da da dumb. Follow the money, from Russia with love and a PTape, all the way to impeachment (in case anyone forgot what its really all about).

the more i think about it, impeachment/resignation or any kind of forced withdrawal could be bad. Then we get Pence, who's quite a polished politician and a total bible thumping, gay fearing little bitch. With Republican majorities in both Houses, things will likely get done, and it probably won't be good.

Pence and his positions are radical and not mainstream. He’d finish Trump’s term, be challenged within his party for re-election and lead to further republican losses in congress. After 2018 losses, not much of an alt-right, Christian jihadi agenda would pass. At least Pence won’t nuke North Korea or Venezuela.

Yeah, before Trump demonstrated that he is WAY more crazy and incompetent than I ever imagined he was, I also feared a Pence presidency more than I did a Trump presidency .... But not anymore. Whatever horrible bigoted bullshit Pence might do, there is no way he would cause more damage to America than Trump has and will in various ways. Especially since Trump is pretty much on board with all the bigoted bullshit that Pence is into anyhow. Trump is like Pence minus infinity plus one.

What are they hiding? Session won't speak to his conversations with Trump before the Senate Judiciary? Why not? What are they covering up? I thought "they" had nothing to hide and want the Russian collusion inquiry to end?

It is kinda scary either way. I hate this fucking administration. They are the worst in my lifetime...by far! Trump is worse than I even ever thought he would be. Which is pretty fucking hard to do because I thought he would be awful.

And wasn’t the dossier initially initiated and funded by republicans? Until they laid down like dogs because Trump was the only one polling that could beat Hillary or had a chance to? Abdication at its most brilliantly brilliant brilliance.
