Senator Doug Jones from Alabama will vote to convict on both articles.
Good for him.
I agree. Nice to see someone has a spine. I'm sure Trump is going to rip him on Twitter and whatnot, but it's nice to see a GOP Senator that isn't afraid of that...like those other pussies lol.
He’s a dem from a deep red state.
Ugh...I should've known. I wonder if he's voting to convict because that's what Alabama democrats want, or if he's just staying in line with the party.
Or of course, he could just feel the evidence points to a conviction vote.
I don't think he's doing it because of job security. I think it's that he thinks it the right vote. The people of Alabama will be saying "bring back the mall-dwelling perv!"

The republican voters are okay with a "mall-dwelling perv" as long as he is a gun loving forced birther who hates Hillary and President Barack Obama.

Oh that's right. Jones is the guy that beat Roy Moore correct? Yeah, I can see Alabama folk saying that.
Romney just said he's going to vote to convict. Well done, Mitt!
Is this a republican politician with ethics? Morals? Common sense? A republican politician who knows when to do the right thing? A republican politician with cajones?

No, I'm guessing probably more that he knows his political career is ending soon, he's not going for president again, and he just doesn't like Trump personally. Sp its out of spite.

So Trump is A-OK? He did nothing wrong? I guess ultimately I don't care what motivates someone to do the right thing, so even if it was done out of spite, it is still the right thing. But this is a weak take.

His political career is ending soon? He was just elected less than 2 years ago to the Senate.
Out of spite? Has nothing to do with the mountain of evidence I guess.
It blows my mind that Romney (who arguably all of tRump supporters voted for in 2012) cannot get more support from the GOP. They are literally discussing that he is a traitor on Fox.

I take back what I said about Mittens. He has a spine and I was wrong to say he didn't.
I've actually liked Mitt for sometime. Voted for Mitt as I was seriously concerned the Repub party would move away from the more moderates if they lost 2 straight (McCain and Mitt). I still think he would have been a good president, just went up against an amazing man and good president Obama.
I do wonder a bit at motive...but that's just me be cynical probably. I am very happy this is what he is doing. Bi-partisan votes for conviction will not do trump favors in the history books. Thanks for standing up Mitt.

Now it's time for the Revenge Tour. Locking up democrats, cutting funding to states that don't vote for him, ordering hits on media members. America has handed the keys to the Trumps and will never get them back.

After they retire to the cigar lounge to listen to Rush reruns, sip their bourbon and cackle about locking up lib kids in cages, banning homosexuality and accelerating global warming. Americans will rue the day.
Tonight across America some people & GOP members will rejoice with a toast to the Baffoon who by the way was sent here by the almighty himself! Greatest president ever they will claim , president for life will also be claimed oh it’s on now he has been emboldened there’s no cuffs strong enough to contain him...
