I can be more specific the (fundamental transformational change of the United States) that Obama envisioned and was implementing is what we rejected.

A Trump voter in a nutshell.

    Facts mean nothing
You tell us what the facts are. Please enlighten me.
Why should anyone tell you? Read the Team Mueller Report and the intelligence agency reporting, as well as the Steele Dossier. It all just may “enlighten” you. But do you have the patience?
"Trump voter in a nutshell, facts mean nothing."  Ok, the truth is we the voters rebuked the socialist path America was on.
You can try to spin it however you want.
Truth is not a left-wing value.
I seriously hope you do impeach his ass.
    That would be great.

It won’t be me despite my imploring my congress people to do it but the dems in the house and, with repubs in the senate. Willful ignorance is no excuse or have you sold out for party over country. Corporate socialism is great though, huh?
Ha,,,I know I should be more specific.
I hope the lefties in the house impeach his ass.  It would be awesome.  Corporate socialism word fruit salad ok.
How's your 401k doing these days? Or whatever retirement program you're on?
Speaking of “word fruit salad,” maybe as a “we” voter, you could more accurately describe that “socialist path” you rejected?

If it needs to be described to you, that means you weren't paying attention.
Funny, because you asked about my 401K return and for the year, as of June 19, 2018, its up 3.47% and since Janury 1st, 17.9%. How about yours? And I've been steadily employed since I was 13 and contributing to social security but I wonder if it'll be there with all the tax breaks and deficit spending (remember 4% GDP growth, quarter over quarter, year after year, for a decade). My guess is the top 1% will figure out  away to steal it from me or at least vastly reduce my benefit. But I'm not all about me. I happen to care about other things that allow for a decent life for me and other members of my society. You know, things like alternative energy, combating CO2 production, strong bi-lateral security and trade relationships with our allies and not cozying up to dictators, sensible gun control, investments in public transportation, increased access to quality and affordable education, clean air and water, you know, the anti-corporate socialism. I get it, you're me, me, me, now, now, now and MAGA, dig coal and you're okay with it. A lot of good that 401K will do when the world you live in has gone to hell in a hand basket. And a typical retort to not be able to describe the path you "we" voters saved us from. Maybe the reason so many Team Trump Treason supporters haven't read the Team Mueller Report is because they can't read? Just a gut instinct.

Have you read the Team Mueller Report?

    Read the report.
Don't even have to read it.

All of the Mueller report’s major findings in less than 30 minutes

    https://www.pbs.org/newshour/show/all-of-the-mueller-reports-major-findings-in-less-than-30-minutes
All of the videos he shares explain important aspects of American history in about 5 minutes or less.

PBS needs to find a way to condense this to appease Trump's 30% base.

By the way---this really is fantastic. Good work PBS. I wish people like Ryme would take the time to watch it if they refuse to even read the summaries....

Ok I admit that I do not have time to read the 448 page report so (Thank You dignin) for posting this PBS program.  I did watch the whole thing now and read the transcript along with it.
Yes it's definately murky to say the least, I knew that without reading the report or watching this.  I'm not an idiot.  But this is very well done and interesting.
But look at this county by county map.
One hell of a lot of ordinary Americans did  not like the trajectory this country was on.
But it was a razor-thin victory for sure.  In the combined swing States, he won by 70,000 votes.  That's threading the needle for sure.

155 questions that White House lawyers objected to Hope’s Hickey from answering. What are they hiding? “Are you now or were you ever a member of a white supremacy organization?”

They objected to two questions about whether she was aware of any discussions regarding Team Trump Treason’s potentially obstructing justice as it related to White House lawyer Don McGhan. Why would they do that if “no collusion, no obstruction?” I mean I’m no Perry Mason but if there wasn’t any obstruction, why wouldn’t Hope’s Hickey be allowed to answer such basic questions? And why should that answer to those questions be protected by executive privilege?

A few reasons to vote one direction or another in the 2016 election:
    -Opinions of Clinton
    -Opinions of Trump
    -Opinions on illegal immigrations
    -Opinions of socialism
    -Opinions of capitalism
-Theories on the country's direction if a candidate had won
-Theories on the country's direction if a candidate had lost
    -Opinion on abortion
    -Opinions on the economy
    -Party lines
    -Discrimination (sexism or racism)
    -Gut feels
    -Religion
    -Attraction

It seems extremely naive to definitively claim to know what Americans liked or didn't like in 2016. There's a premise in analytics that 'why' is a lost cause when you've got enough variables that are likely related to an outcome - this is clearly one of those cases.

If any of the other Republican candidates had won instead of Trump, just wondering what scandle we would be talking about now?
Say If it had been Ted Cruz, Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, John Kasich, Carly Fiorina, Mike Huckabee, Scott Walker, Ben Carson Chris Christie, Lindsey Graham, Bobby Jindal, Rand Paul, I wonder what the conversation would be right now at this time if it has been anybody other than Trump. I'm just throwing this out there, is Trump the only Republican that could have beat the Democrats in 2016, or would any of them have won in 2016? I guess we'll never know.  And would the people here despise whoever the Republican president ended up being, or is there a special dislike for Trump?
Maybe it would be team Ted treason instead, who knows?

RNC internal polling showed Team Trump Treason was the only repub who could beat Hillary But was within the margin of error, hence Putin on the ritz’s all out putz that the NRA funded and Team Trump Treason knowingly and willingly accepted. 88,000 votes in 3 key states micro targeted to suppress dems, butt hurt Bernie bros and African Americans with the assistance of RNC and Cambridge Analytica, who Paulie Manaforte just “happened to share” polling data with oligarchs close to Putin on the ritz. Putin on the ritz ain’t KGB for nutin.

Would there be “scandal?” Sure. Politics as usual. But no where near the level we’re seeing with almost 11,000 lies and misleading statements made by Team Trump Treason. Welcome to the new normal and everyone who voted for and continues to support Team Trump Treason is responsible and owns it. I can’t wait for the evil dem POTUS to take their guns away and put them in FEMA camps. Or have them secede and eat their own. Repubs are disgraceful for what they wrought.

Good article about how they're going to use Hick's lack of testimony in court. Seems as if she played right into the dems' hand. I wonder how long the court battle will be though...

That resulted in guns being taken away? Or FEMA camps? Millions more unemployed after the previous administration tanked the economy? Millions more with access to health insurance? Maybe a fundamental shift toward clean energy? Getting Osama Bin Laden? Drawing down in Iraq and Afghanistan? Having an educated, thoughtful, respectful POTUS and administration? Or was it the record number of minorities and LGBTQ folk hired and working in the Administration?

Somehow I knew you wouldn’t be able to articulate the “fundamental shift” all on your own. The state of education in this country is damning.

They have social security in Halifax?
