While this link says 40 members are publicly for impeachment proceedings against Team Trump Treason, the other day it was 48 and now stands at 52. Woot!
I like Mahdi Hasan and he’s been taking this position for quite some time now, but I’m not fully convinced Pelosi has no plan to propose impeachment proceedings (though that has to do with whether you take her at face value or not). There’s a finite number of ways to influence people to come around to your way of thinking, and one of the most effective ways is to convince them the idea you want them to push, was theirs all along. To me, I think she’s looking for a critical mass of House Democrats to support impeachment before she proposes moving forward, and I think her perceived inactivity could be a strong catalyst for that unification. I think Pelosi is smart enough to play this long game successfully though this is all conjecture.

Pelosi was on Kimmel the other night and talked about it. While she kind of tippy toes around it, she may suggest that’s where she wants to gonadter the goundwork is laid: ”When "Robert Mueller finally spoke" on Wednesday, Jimmy Kimmel told House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Thursday's Kimmel Live, he said if his team "had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so." Well, "he didn't say so," Kimmel said. "And then he indicated that now it's Congress' job to take it from here. Are you taking it from there?" Pelosi was a little cryptic: "Well, we've been on that path for a while, and when we do get to where we're going, we're going to be ready."

Pelosi was on Kimmel the other night and talked about it. While she kind of tippy toes around it, she may suggest that’s where she wants to go after the goundwork is laid: ”When "Robert Mueller finally spoke" on Wednesday, Jimmy Kimmel told House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Thursday's Kimmel Live, he said if his team "had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so." Well, "he didn't say so," Kimmel said. "And then he indicated that now it's Congress' job to take it from here. Are you taking it from there?" They still won’t read it. They’re complicit. See Mitchy Baby’s wife Elaine Chao and her swampiness. America is there for the raping, constitution be damned.
So are the Dems waiting for The Donald to say "I committed obstruction of justice" before they will hold impeachment hearings...weak.
In all likelihood, impeachment proceedings will result in the polarization of those bearing witness and the political weaponization of the verdict. If you believe this to be the case, then there's one strong chance to get this right, and the others would be jeopardized by "this again? what a witch hunt". Good leadership means that you recognize the need to rally the troops and unify your people with one authentic message. I have to believe Pelosi doesn't believe her party is there yet, and if they aren't, why would the Republicans (i.e. the ones in Senate necessary for removal) be even remotely on their side?
I tell this to people I work with regularly at our office, but "no" and "not right now" are two different things. I don't believe I've heard "no" from Pelosi and I don't think that's accidental. We also shouldn't pretend to be aware of planning going on behind closed doors, but I believe there have been indications of Pelosi holding meetings on the topic with her caucus recently (though I need to remember the source before accepting that one).

Donny Boy testifies before the senate intelligence committee tomorrow in a closed door hearing to “clarify” discrepancies as to what he had previously testified to and what others had testified to before the same committee and what was told to Team Mueller. Just wait until the house gets ahold of those transcripts but you have to wonder why it’s the intelligence committee and not judiciary or oversight? Hmmmm, international money laundering? Putin on the ritz’s compromised agent in our midst? And why any of this at all if,
“There was no collusion.”
“I have nothing to hide.”
“I don’t know any Russians.”
“I’ll sit down and talk with anyone.”
“We do everything by the book.”
“Only the guilty plea the fifth.”
“Very legal, very cool.”
“Fully exonerated.”
“Essentially no obstruction.”
Follow the money from Russia with love and a PTape all the way to impeachment.
Surpassing 60 members and as the subpoenas continue to be ignored and more malfeasance is revealed, pressure will build. Anyone who thought or continues to think that the Team Mueller Report was the end, rather than the beginning, hasn’t been paying attention. As someone once famously said, “you don’t market and sell a war in August.” Been awful quiet on Donny Jr.’s senate testimony from last week. Toodles.

I love how its "Team" Mueller. What team is he a part of?
I want trump out but only 66 House Democrats or about 28%, support impeachment inquiry.
So are you saying not even the Democrats are paying attention?

Let's see if Pelosi can time this thing perfectly.

But to answer your assumption, no I get my news from HGTV.
