I'm not sure that Vancouver is a real good shot, because they played Pemberton last year. Playing Pemberton is to Vancouver, what playing the Gorge is to Seattle. In fact Pemberton is closer to Vancouver than the Gorge is to Seattle.
On the other hand if they're touring the West Coast there's only so many places to play.Post edited by Zod on0 -
Yeah but they played the two PJ20 shows in East Troy in 2011, and Milwaukee in 2014, all within an hour's drive from Madison. Don't get me wrong, I love that area and would love to come back, but there are probably some more under serviced markets.coco butter said:They haven't played Madison, Wisconsin since 1991. A perfect city for the band. They would sell out in minutes.

If they play Chicago this year it'll be Lolla probably. Easy gig for them, Ed can catch a Cubs game or 2 if they're in town.
However, I don't see it happening this year.0 -

Atlanta please"I got memories, I got shit"0

I don't see any possibility of that since its so close to Greenville. And I have a hunch that the only reason they played Gville is because Atlanta places were booked when they would have neededJojoRice said:Atlanta please

Atlanta and Nashville were 100% scheduled for the 2016 tour. Bonnaroo was a last minute addition, scratching the two shows due to the radius clause. These were then replaced with Hampton and Greenville.drakeheuer14 said:

Would it? With the exception of Calgary, Edmonton/Saskatoon/Winnipeg have only gotten shows during a cross Canada tour. Given that they played Vancouver (Pemberton), Toronto, Ottawa, and Quebec City last summer, what are the odds of a Cross Canada tour this year, when they played most of the major markets last year? Unfortunately PJ touring doesn't often hit the same place two years in a row, nor does it involve playing the smaller Canadian cities only :(TooMuts said:Winnipeg should fall in real good bet, and the fact you left it out but included Saskatoon is insulting
That's how I see it anyways. Just going by history repeating itself, playing the same places twice in two years, or just playing smaller Canadian markets is something PJ doesn't really do.Post edited by Zod on0 -
Camden, NJ and Newark, NJ are different markets. Camden is across the river from Philly (the city skyline over the river is the backdrop for the amphitheater) so I don't think Camden is very likely again. I loved the Newark show in 2010 and would love to see them play there again but it's only a 15 min train ride to MSG, and MSG and Barclays Center in Brooklyn are much bigger than the Newark arena so I don't think that's very likely either.0
-
The east coast had their tour last year. I would highly doubt that any market get a show outside of festivals whether they were played last year or not. The safest bet right now is a smaller version of the tour that happened in 2016 on the west/midwest of NA and a slim chance of a summer Europe tour though I imagine that would have been announced already if it was happening.0

How in the world is Niagara Falls on that list?! Lol! I mean they'd certainly be welcome here though0

Not true. The Barclay's Center in Brooklyn has a lower seating capacity than the Prudential Center in Newark and is the smallest of the three arenas.Banjo said:I loved the Newark show in 2010 and would love to see them play there again but it's only a 15 min train ride to MSG, and MSG and Barclays Center in Brooklyn are much bigger than the Newark arena so I don't think that's very likely either.

I'm done checking the boards daily for potential 2017 tour news. If they're working on a new album they will likely want to coincide the tour with the release of that album. It's too late to announce a summer tour. 2014 fall US tour was announced in May. Sit tight everyone.. . . the in between is mine.0

2017 Fall Tour is best case scenario0
