I'm trying not to get all preachy, especially with the folks I'm sharing these great solo show experiences with, but ....
.... why does one show have to be more special than the other? why does it see we all have to have that "one song he's never done" or "all the best special guests".
I'm stoked I was at Berkeley 2 .... but if he did back to back Berkeley 1s, I would still be one happy fucker.
Us on the west coast are lucky enough to have 10 solo shows in our back yard ... do we have to seem like just getting the showws are old hat, and we need something more special than the other shows are getting?
just sayin'

my opinion, worst crowd of my three shows, balcony was half dead, but the people that were into it was great up there.
Ed side down a rope to start the show, Throw Your Arms Around Me, I Won't Back Down, Ben Harper on "No More" and back up vocals for Hard Sun with EJ.
Liam and EJ played Neil Young's Old Man during their set. The were great once again.
Maybe the crowd was dead where you were but Ed didn't think we were that bad. I could feel his genuine appreciation for us at the end of the night. But I was in row H and I didn't look behind me at all.
