A documentary called Pirate Gold of Adak Island. It is a typical treasure hunting saga, but we were stationed on Adak during our time in the Navy, so it was cool to watch for the nostalgia and to see how the island is now. The Navy left the island in the late 1990’s and it has deteriorated badly since.
Coast Guard still has a base out there no? I could have sworn that we got weather reports from Adak in the mid 90's?

I am not sure about the Coast Guard, they didn't show any Coasties during the show. While we were there, the Coast Guard would visit the island, but didn't have a permanent outpost there. Our command decommissioned in 1994, and the rest of the base closed in either 96 or 97, with commercial fishing continuing for a while. It is possible that they kept a presence there to aid the fishing fleet.
Snowflake Mountain. I am ashamed of myself that I watched and enjoyed this, lol.

Couldn't be worse than Stranger Things 4.
I keep mocking one of my buddies for talking about this so much. He laughs and annoys me by mentioning it more frequently
Totally anticlimactic (kinda like the third season).
Yeah it was. I liked the season fine because....whatever.....it's just some nostalgic monster science-fiction. But that "climax" where Vecna had Eleven and Max tied with vines in a place that looked like level 2 of Earthworm Jim couldn't have been lamer. Eleven is tied up! What can save her? Mike telling her he loves her of course. And then, when Eleven is loose and able to confront him, she beats him because she beats everyone, but she didn't even have to because they had set him on fire in the real world at the exact same time.
I actually thought Stranger Things 4 was great, start to finish.
I thought it was really great although certainly traumatizing to people who have had certain kinds of injuries. Also had some issues with... sorry that would be spoilers.

While it is a powerful story, I didn't really like it. The whole thing bummed me out. I don't think it was a well-constructed documentary though and definitely could have been a tighter package than the 1:50 run time.

Look forward to this. I think I'll like it more than the HBO MAX Woodstock 99 doc.
The trailer looks like the exact same movie.
But the talking heads in this can't possibly be as insufferable as the one in the HBO doc.
Well, that's what made the HBO doc a good one to me. It actually gave them a platform them be insufferable on camera. I'm guessing the Netflix one just trashes them without putting a camera and mic in front of their faces.

I think we're talking about different talking heads. I'm talking about the talking heads that were journalists and whatnot. The most insufferable was a guy named Wesley Morris from the New York Times. There was a woman that was too but I can't recall her name.

I like watching the insufferables…they’re entertaining for awhile.
Watched Love on the Spectrum US last weekend. I...I'm not sure what to make of that series. I appreciate that it kind of tries to explain autism and it's good to have examples of people who can overcome their limitations, especially on the quest of finding a soul mate. However, I can't help but think that it was created for non-altruistic reasons. They could be making light of this condition or it could just be as simple as exploiting the condition for ratings/money.

So fucking lazy.
Great acting from a few members of the cast, though. And the music's good (score and songs), as always.

I wouldn’t call it a great series but it’s good enough for entertainment purposes.
What I expected from him. Some stuff I literally laughed out loud at.
