They always save the best for last. Gonna be the best version of Porch they ever played.

No chance. PJ closes no matter what. PJ was at one time the biggest band in the world and is still huge and relevant. Journey is none of those things

Journey with Perry would be the top story of the evening. Nothing else comes close when it comes to headlines from the HOF show.

Since Beyonce played GCF before Pearl Jam I have a hard time believing Journey, Perry in-tow or not, will play after them at the HoF.
Confession: Journey were one of my favorites back in middle school....looking forward to seeing them for the first time.

    I'll "fess-up" too...
I was a Journey fan in the late 70's!
Even saw them in concert 3 times,
once before Steve Perry joined the band!!

The three songs will be "Jeremy", "Sweet Lew" and "Ole", and then close out with an extended version of "Of the Earth".

It's usually by popularity. I have no doubt Pearl Jam will be closing it out. They're the obvious choice. 3 original songs and RITFW collective jam with Uncle Neil and everyone else.

Please have Neil learn Alive instead of doing RITFW. Please please please don't end with that cover.
I agree, I wouldn't mind if they retired it for good honestly.

How many years did it take Journey to even get inducted?
PJ is first ballot and a shoe-in to headline, even if Perry attends
“I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version.”

It says in the article that I just read that Pearl Jam is the headliner.
"The 2017 ceremony's appeal has a lot to do with clear headliner Pearl Jam. But also word has been mum on whether or not Journey will reunite with former lead singer Steve Perry."

What about Tupac's hologram? I don't think he will headline

I really hope this doesn't happen.
The headliner, in this case a band called Pearl Jam of the revered RRHOF should not share the same stage w/ a hologram.

I hope Journey comes out and sings PJ songs, then PJ return the favor.
And so you see, I have come to doubt

I really hope that the keyboard players for yes, elo, and journey trade places or at least keyboards. That'd be wild

If Pearl Jam doesn't close, you'll see a mass exidous from the Barclays Center

Remember that time that PJ headlined a show that included Beyonce? That was so satisfying......

Worst pj show I've ever been to
