Hello.

Anyone have this that installed the kodi app to, essentially, jailbreak the thing? Any reviews/advice? I feel like I'm the last person at my work who has not gotten it yet...

    I don't have one Jugs. But it was talked about at work a little while ago. A few of them have it and love it.

    I uninstalled and reinstalled kodi.....now everything is working great.

    Yeah man.

    I was interested in it more for my parents who moved out of town and can't get local sports teams without paying for the league pass/mlb package etc. Although last night I noticed a lot of the live streams for games were not working......But it has just about everything though. I'm probably going to get rid of my hbo/showtime and scale down my cable package.

    2 or 3 YouTube videos I found didn't work. Found one that was basically the same as the one posted here and it worked. So far I've only installed the Exodus add on, but it's working great now. After scrolling through all the movies and shows with my wife, I think she's going to confiscate the remote from me :lol: She does tend to watch more stuff than me though.

    I tried doing it for my parents last night with the same video I posted above and it didn't work. One of the links you need to click on towards the end wasn't there anymore. Gotta try again

    My internet stopped working this weekend less then a week after modding the stick. Are they watching? :open_mouth:

    I got it working again but had to reconfigure the modem. Coincidence?

    I used this guy's guides, and had no problem installing Kodi on my Firestick, as well as various apps.

    How reliable are the sports? I had no problem with NBA games last night. Is there a lag in how live it is? Trying to figure out if I can cancel my MLB package.

    I don't think it's as reliable as other stuff that's not live. Guess it just depends on how many streams are up there

    How much were the preloaded ones? It is pretty easy to do it yourself. Took me about 10 minutes....and I normally suck at stuff like this.
