    They usually go younger artist. My guess is Ben from band of horses or maybe they give the black keys another shot since steve miller was a douche to them.

    It should be a younger artist, but gaslight is not well known. No, it will not be ny, pt, or any of that pj-related crew - hopefully! Hoping for something fresh.

    Emphatic no for Brian Fallon of Gaslight Anthem. I'm sure he's a great guy and PJ has influenced them, but their music is generic as it gets.

    I agree that usually (but not always) it's someone who was influenced by the band (not someone that influenced the band). Hence why Eddie inducted the Ramones. The problem being that PJ is near the end of the last of the big great arena rock band's. I agree with the people above that Jack White would seem to be a good choice. I'm having a harder time thinking of other younger artists of that calibur. Maybe they do have to go older on this one (which is kind of sad because it's a cool tradition to go younger).

    I believe the HOF criteria is having been inspired by the artist and produced music in a similar vein.

    To me it should be Kings of Leon.
