I question whether the event can actually serve as a catalyst for positive change or not. When Obama was elected... that event was significant for a number of reasons. It had the potential to become profound and move America in the direction this guy speaks about... yet it went the other way.
And I'm one that doesn't think it was Obama's fault. I'm one thinking the level of stupidity and dysfunction in the country is such that even great minds and progressive thinking will be stymied- preventing progress. So... pessimistic as usual...
