Yesterday, LIVE updated their official Facebook page with new profile and cover photos, and around the same time, Ed Kowalczyk updated his Facebook page as well.

COINCIDENCE? This could be one of the best 90's reunions since Temple of the Dog!!!

Still 2 of the best live shows I've ever seen. The Secret Samadhi tour was off the chain good - almost better than the 2 Throwing Copper shows I saw in 1995. I hope they reconcile and get back together. Chris Shinn is amazing but Ed belongs with Live .

I've been a fan since Mental Jewelry, but only had the chance to see them once in 2003 at The Palms in Las Vegas and they were awesome. It was an outdoor show at the pool area, and while they were playing, there was a thunderstorm to the west against the mountains putting on quite a lightning show. It made for a cool backdrop behind the stage and the band kept turning around to watch it! Was a really cool experience!

I was a huge fan of this band up to and including Birds of Prey. Only time I ever saw them was in 06 when they were promoting Songs from the Black Mountain, at the Electric Factory in Philly. Exellent show and glad I got the chance to see them before the split. A reunion would be killer; wouldn't miss it for the world!

Wow, I wonder what happened with Chris Shinn? I would also love to hear about how they reconciled after the whole "lead singer bonus" thing. I, for one gotta say i'm not exactly thrilled with this. I really loved their album with Shinn, The Turn. If Ed would actually write some good songs again, then awesome, but the last few Live albums with him and his solo work sucked. I hate to say it, but he is washed up. I don't think this is a good move. I hope I am wrong.

Lets hope. I think both groups realized the mortgages were harder to handle without eachother

Is that assumption or fact that he's back?

Seems to be happening to a lot of 90s bands these past few years. :smirk:

Don't own throwing copper on wax, someone please fill me in on the different versions. Is the mov pressing good? What about original presses?

    Thanks

Always surprised me this band wasn't bigger. I mean they had some huge selling albums and some great songs. Hopefully they can make a nice little comeback.

By the time Secret Samadhi dropped, people were starting to get burned out on the second and third generation 90's Alt Rock. Couple that with no massive singles off of SS and weaker material that followed that album, it was just a downward trajectory for this band.
