HuffPost was the one proven to be wrong, along with just about every other mainstream media pundit. Silver was way, way off, but still closest. And Silver doesn't do the actual polling. He builds models based on past accuracy of each poll. So pollsters need to step back and figure out where they fucked up. And the CNN/MSNBC/ABC/CBS/NBC/MICKEYMOUSE media needs to temper their trust in these pollsters. They all looked like colossal, out of touch idiots last night.
