It can't be argued with logically, which is the problem. In order for people to vote for trump, they went through a series of denial and magical thinking (except for the blatant bigots). Now the trump voters are continuing to maintain that magical thinking. Look at the responses about what's happened since the election: you get denials, "wait and see", blaming the media, tangental focus on the riots, and just non responses.
