They have done them for both Black Friday RSD and regular RSD. I think the last one was last Black Friday.

Its tricky, because I think the next Live Trax is Fenway 2005 or whatever, which was 2 shows for 1 release. So thats a 8-10 disc release (assuming they release both and are still going in order with the series). So thats gonna have to be a big release.

I'm sure they'll just split them and release them on the same RSD.

Honestly, there aren't too many post-2000 shows I'm interested in, esp. from 2005.
    They did release 2 sets a few years ago, #2 & 3 I think?
    Yup same RSD.
Green and Red both # of 1000 bought em both.

There are 5000, shouldn't be a problem to find.

    Here is a link: http://www.recordstoreday.com/Home
You can look up participating stores.

Well people are boycotting because of Orange Brock Turner. I've been against it before it was cool anyways. Small business saturday is where it's at. I'm going to my local indie shop tomorrow.

Agree, I actually stayed home and bought some Jordans online. Had a buddy pick me up the Raconteurs 7", but that's about all I wanted.

There's so much garbage and shit being put out.

I stopped by my go to local this morning around 10:30 to browse the used vinyl section. Not any busier than an average weekend morning. This shop really held back on the RSD stuff this time.

Picked up a very nice, used mid-70s pressing of Harvest by Neil Young, a used copy of Dr. Dog's Live from the Flamingo Hotel, and the Bob Dylan Royal Albert Hall RSD release.

    Hey all,
If anyone is out & about on Black Friday RSD, could you try to grab a copy of The Wild Feathers Live at the Ryman for me? I'm wanting to get it for my brother in law for Christmas & no one in Portland has a copy. I called around....no luck. He also went to 4-5 record stores in Kansas City & struck out.

Of course, I'll cover shipping & will send a little extra as well for your trouble!

    Thanks in advance!

I had no luck with Black Friday RSD here :( The best local record store is Ditch Records and they do proper RSD really well. Bringing plenty of copies, setup special displays for them to make them easy to search for. I went in there today and saw nothing :( I was told they were on display, or in the artist sections with the regular vinyl. I couldn't find the Soundgarden, Ramones, or Alice in Chains vinyls. It was like they didn't have anything :( Almost no evidence of Black Friday in there :( Afterwards I was wondering if maybe Canadian stores sell them early or something as they aren't closed on US Thanksgiving.... hopefully some online stores have extra copies.

edit: I really am loathing RSD's. There are always a few records I want, but way to much effort/stress involved with finding copies.

lol, yea. I'm a 3s and 4s guy. They're the ones I had when I was a freshman and sophomore in high school. Pretty much anytime they get dropped in color ways that he actually wore... I pretty much take the bait..lol

My store had a couple but they sold quick. The owner said he's going to order more from Warner bros. I don't think you'll have a problem getting this at bullmoose, ameoba, etc.

  • Here in SC my local store had multiples of pretty much everything. Got there in the afternoon and it was busy but no real frenzy over the RSD section.

I got the Run Dmc "Christmas in Hollis" picture disc on Ebay
  • Picked up Alice In Chains, Gary Clark Jr, Ramones, Otis Redding, Wild Feathers. Record stores were considerably less busy this time around. Didn't even go early and pretty much got everything I wanted at the first store I went to.
  • Amoeba will be putting their RSD releases online at 5 AM Pacific I believe.

Got these below for a 5 buck sidewalk sale at Rhino in Claremont,CA (my and Ben Harpers hometown) on small Saturday.

    Fore! - Huey Lewis
Born in the USA - the boss
    Don't Look Back - Boston
Let's Get Small - Steve Martin
    Hold Out - Jackson Browne

In the store, I got Sandinista! By The Clash used for $29.99. Were it not for that I would have bought Badmotorfinger 25th anniversary for $34.99. Some other time it will be for that one. It would have been my first 3 sided vinyl purchase.
