I'd like to know more about the AIC release. I wish it was a straight up reissue of Facelift. Maybe it was a mistake and it is.

Alice In Chains – Live Facelift (Columbia/Legacy)
Unavailable on vinyl until now, Alice In Chains’ Live Facelift captures the American grunge-rock powerhouse–Layne Staley (lead vocals), Jerry Cantrell (guitar, backing vocals), Mike Starr (bass), Sean Kinney (drums, percussion, backing vocals)–at the peak of the band’s powers at a mythic show recorded live at The Moore Theatre in Seattle on December 22, 1990.

Side A: It Ain’t Like That, Man In The Box, Real Thing
Side B: Love Hate Love, Sea Of Sorrow, Bleed The Freak

Agree with most people in saying this year;'s is meh.

Interested to see what the AIC facelift live album thing is. Is it live songs from the album (like Live on two/Ten Legs)? or did they play he whole album in it's entirety at one time?

South Park Christmas album would be cool to have. Stone Roses, maybe.

Black Friday RSD is tough here in Canada because most of us are working (as your Thanksgiving stat is on October). Good thing there's only one record on the list I want (the Live AIC album).

I'm actually surprised AIC hasn't reissued Facelift or Tripod yet. I know there's OP's out there, but they're getting quite expensive for people just starting to collect vinyl.

They have done them for both Black Friday RSD and regular RSD. I think the last one was last Black Friday.

Its tricky, because I think the next Live Trax is Fenway 2005 or whatever, which was 2 shows for 1 release. So thats a 8-10 disc release (assuming they release both and are still going in order with the series). So thats gonna have to be a big release.

Soundgarden SOMMS on vinyl looks pretty tasty. But it's a RSD first release, so it'll get a wider release later.

I'm sure they'll just split them and release them on the same RSD.

Honestly, there aren't too many post-2000 shows I'm interested in, esp. from 2005.

    They did release 2 sets a few years ago, #2 & 3 I think?
