How hard of a print is this going to be in 6months from now to find? Is the value really going to continue to increase?
See Moline, Milwaukee, Cracker Jack, Pittsburgh, NYC Kong.....
Any reason why Milwaukee is sought after and commanding big bucks? The others I understand, but not the Milwaukee. Seems like an okay print, but not great.

That is basically what I'm getting at, is this print gonna reach that status. I feel it has potential, but just curious as to where it will go and how quickly.

There are most likely as many Thomas prints as ALL those you have listed. I thought for sure these would drop because of that but that doesn't seem to be happening...
That is my thought too about them. With so many out there, I find it crazy that some of their values remain so high. Seems like they float around and then once the collectors get them, they disappear and you see one pop up every 6months or less.
This was mass produced. Not on same page as the others mentioned. Some individuals will have 23 copies and hope more threads like this start so the value goes up.
If everyone relaxed and don't buy in ebay will have a steady stream

I think it is all relative. Sure a lot more were produced, but the demand should be just as high considering it is for two nights at a venue that seats roughly double that of a typical arena show.
exactly, however there are 200 Kong AP's floating about somewhere.....I mistaking thought thats enough supply to lower prices over a few years. Silly me. The funny thing about this is, you can now get cheaper 98's than the prices listed for the recent tour variants. The price explosion on these tour prints are nothing like previous tour releases price rises immediately after their release... $500, $600+...crazy. I'd start stocking up on low edition 2003 Ap's once all these new crazy collectors get growing..

The Thomas print was the best out of all the ball park shows.
Expresso Beans list only 133 show editions, 53 artist editions and 31 variants. Those a really low numbers considering how big the shows were. You think there would be allot more. They were the only print that were sold out at the shows. I wouldn't be surprised if Ten Club never sells them.

And, there are a lot of collectors that weren't at the shows that want the Thomas Catch poster just as bad.
The show edition will climb to a consistent mark above $250, the AP will be above $350, and the variant above $550! And that will be within the next two or three months, if not already now.

I want to trade my Thomas AP for Munk Pitt 13 show
I want to trade my Thomas AP for Munk Pitt 13 show
I stood and stared at the Burgh Munk poster. That was before I started collecting posters. I loved it, but didn't want to spend the money on it. So how I wish I would have. Look at it almost everyday kicking myself.

I would imagine they will sell a small allotment, but could also see them them using it to package with other posters on ebay for the Vitalogy Foundation. I feel like that will be one of the only ways they can get rid of excess stock for the slow moving ballpark posters.

Or if they made 2000 posters instead of 10000 they'd have sold out.

Definitely agree with you, but I guess it was nice to make so many available for people attending the shows. Personally I wasn't overly impressed with the Fenway prints. I was prepared to buy all 6, but walked away with 2.

I'm thinking there will be plenty of leftover ballpark posters to put in the next "Mystery Tube" offerings. Jackelopes for all!!!

It would also seem to be pretty easy to know the posters that are sought after by the fans and print another run for those prints. The fans want the merch. PJ and the artist can make more money for themselves or for charity and it puts the flippers out of business. I don't care at all about whether something I have is rare or if everyone who wants one can get one. I would love everyone to wallpaper their houses with PJ art! If you want a collectible version, sure - use an AP/signed poster/variant but why limit the show prints at all? A classic example is the Thomas print. It was sold out instantly. No stock was even held in reserve for sale at the shows or at the merch booths later in the weekend. So someone clearly knows this was in demand - why not commission an immediate additional print run and sell online. Maybe they are planning to do exactly this...we can all hope!
If you are a baseball and Pearl Jam fan this one is a must own. Visually I find it to be in the upper echelon of PJ posters.
Agree, this poster has class written all over it. Timeless art for the wall

More will not be printed because that isn't how gig posters and artists operate. All credibility is lost if a poster edition becomes open and more are printed arbitrarily.

It's only my 4th favorite of the Fenway posters, behind the Ames Green Monster, Eaton Green Lady, & Mark 5 playing card. I really wish Wrigley would've gotten a better baseball themed poster.
