I wonder what the new baseline is for Pittsburgh show prints 5-600? Actually checked Ebeans and last 6 show prints have sold for over $500 one for over $800. Don't be surprised if the new baseline will be $7-800.

Prints of shows you go to always have a certain significance and intrinsic value, but this print to me is as good as they get. I had two shows and an AP over the last few years, sold one show and one AP, will ever sell my last show version. Probably my favourite piece in my poster collection. Other than my avatar. ;)

  • Blows away the donkey kong poster

I started a thread a few months back just to see what people thought about the Donkey Kong and whether it was the best/most desirable poster. There was a lot of great discussion over there, and if I remember correctly it was around 50/50 who thought it was. There were those who thought the Kozik Green Lady was, a few people said some of the 1998 tour posters were, and then others said the 2013 Pittsburgh was. It's still a matter of taste of course, and I'm still partial to the Donkey Kong, but these Pittsburgh AP sales show that this is a poster that connects with people in a big way

Even ugly signed posters auctioned by 10c go for $1500+ so yeah just imagine.

Absolutely crazy talk. Not sure how the "going rate" doubled to tripled in the past six months (judging from expresso beans). I think poster fever from the tour has scrambled some brains.

    4 bidders total.....

With a TOTAL of 65 pieces of ebay feedback between them, one bidder completely brand new.....

100% different bidders than the last Pitt AP to go over $1,000......

I feel these are two of the largest fake shill bidding poster sales we've seen on PJ posters in recent memory!!

None of that confirms that it's shill bidding. There were 2 separate auctions, 2 different sellers, 2 different AP #s. One ended up at $1100 and the other $1400, which is within the same ballpark when your talking about expensive posters. These posters have been going upwards for awhile now and many confirmed sales have been on this board.
