Everybody be cool! Someone made a claim on the Miami show so all were pulled until we figure out what's up. It was BTNs decision. The band nor 10c had anything to do with it to my knowledge, regarding Miami. They have been nothing but cool since it's obvious it's done out of love and not to monetize. If they ever requested that be pulled forever, it would be done.
Thanks for clarifying, Matt. I think this thread shows how much appreciation there is for the effort that goes into those BTN videos...and our want to experience as much PJ as possible. Thanks!
Damn was worried this would happen. For those that don't know YouTube just edited their ToS, and the rules have gotten a lot stricter and a lot more vague. As a creator on YouTube (i have a slowly growing gaming channel as well as a guitar channel) I was well informed of this. Thankfully I haven't been hit yet, but my guitar videos are likely to get taken down like yours (including the full album covers if you remember those).
The good news is that there has been great backlash, and especially from YouTube's most popular channels (PewDiePie has about 48 million subscribers now, and many of his videos have now been demonetized due to "Non-advertisement friendly language") so hopefully they will change the ToS again.

well the problem is that we are using copyrighted music in our videos. This wasn't a problem before, but now that they are demonetizing videos that aren't "advertiser friendly", they are also taking down videos with copyrighted content that they see as a video that the copyright owner would not want to be associated with. Mostly they edit these videos to be muted while the copyrighted content is playing, which is in our case the whole videos.
Now reading that, you would think it shouldn't be a problem right? Wrong. Most systems like this have flaws, and this is not an exception. There have been a lot of cases of clean videos being either muted or taken down. Some of these have been restored, but some have not.
So, basically, we just gotta hope that they don't screw up on us.

Exactly - bluray drives and blank media prices have dropped considerably. And just because YT is currently void of those videos doesn't mean everyone packed up and went home.
Sucks hard. All that work put into those multicam shows too.... basically down the drain. The brutal thing is that I had a DVD of the Vancouver 2013 one, but gave it to someone else as a gift I think. I figured I could do that since it's on youtube. Fuck.

Those are even cheaper than a burner! A run-of-the-mill player on Amazon can be found for $35 and up. And with Black Friday around the corner, I'm sure there will be deals galore on one.

They asked me to take my TOTD stuff down recently and I understood with the upcoming reissue that made sense, but this was BS. My friends stuff was cool footage that wasn't conflicting with their release, as there was no similar video to it coming out..
