    This should ALWAYS be the case. I too have a little nook with vinyl boxes and bubble wrap.

    I've even gone so far as to place mailer inside of mailer to maximize space.

    Ship stuff the way you expect to receive it.
    All my packages are bulletproof and I'm Canadian lol
    When a record is open I take it out of the jacket when shipping to prevent seam splits and damage.

    wow. that sucks. I would contact the seller. No idea why someone would have 3 LP's loosely in a box like that. Use mailers...multiple mailers if you have to.

    Seller is taking care of this from his end, so hopefully all works out.

    No joke. I usually use new pizza boxes. They are much more pliable right away.
