If I knew a way to meet the band I would use it for myself.
and you really want people to believe you when you say that you dont post on this board just to get a rise outta people?
I knew I wasn't wrong about you at all..... your responses are always as lame as they can get, its a shame you had to get involved in this beautiful thread :(

Hello all you beautiful Pearl Jam fans who have replied to my daughter's thread. Thank you so much for all of your kind words, wishes & prayers. Last night, my daughter (just home from college) came into my room. She sat on the chair by my bed & read to me the thread she had put out to you all & the thoughtful responses you sent back to her. She cried while she read them. I never got to meet the band, but I went to 3 shows on this tour - Columbia, SC, VA Beach, & Washington DC. I had fabulous seats for all of them and they were the best Pearl Jam shows I've ever seen. AND I met the nicest fellow fan club members. I may not have met the band, but I was reminded how blessed I am to have a wonderful husband and two wonderful children. My love to you all, Ann
Ann,
It is so great to hear that you had such a good time and attended (which IMO was the best show of the tour = SC)... I hope you do get to meet the band one day and that you get to go to many more concerts in the future.
God Bless

Sadly I tried to jack up a similar meet for my Friend at Wembley last year after it was discovered he had Brain Tumour, I didn't even receive a response from the contacts that I tried.

My mom's birthday is tomorrow (Nov. 25), and all she asked for was a binder of the lyrics to all the songs Pearl Jam has ever performed. (She already has every recording possible!) My dad, brother, and I have collected the lyrics, printed them out, and decorated the pages with everything Pearl Jam. I am telling you this, because I am including all of your uplifting, kind responses in the front of the binder before the lyrics. They mean so much to all of us. Thank you!
Alex
P.S. While my mom is still battling cancer (and boy is she a fighter!), there is good news: Her latest bone scan showed that some of the cancer has regressed! It is amazing what medicine in combination with the three P's can do: prayers, a positive attitude, and Pearl Jam. Thanks again!
