    It's those heavy duty jackets where the images are glued on as opposed to printed. Usually the seams are on the inside gatefold.

    Basically, any thick sleeve record is a tip on sleeve.

    M in Chicago. Arrived today. And it got poured on...the cardboard took the brunt of the rain and was a soggy mess but miraculously the plastic on the vinyl and the envelop on the goodies saved the day.

    Thumbs up on the shipping packaging, to say the least! :clap:

    Couple of (potentially dumb) questions...

    1. Was there supposed to be a patch included? I could be wrong.

    2. Was the 7" packed separately or was it also inserted in the larger album holder? I'd rather not break the seal on the album for the time being.

    Yes there was a patch in the envelope with the book and pin.
    7" was packed inside the LP shrink wrap. Might want to double check bc I thought I saw on here where someone got 2 by accident. I opened mine to make sure I received it.

    So BUMMED!! Mine is badly damaged! It looks like something sharp and heavy fell on it!!
    There's an actual hole in the cardboard shipping envelope that had been taped over. When I unwrapped it, it was clear that whatever impacted it went all the way through bc the plastic and vinyl cardboard sleeve itself also had a large gash. There is also a very bad corner ding. Additionally, despite being protected by the bubble wrap mailer, the photo book is also damaged. I'm so sad. I emailed TMR. I hope they replace it and quickly without hassle. So sad it see this.

    Don't worry, TMR tends to make things right. :) Just take photos. (but yeah, even when a replacement is a given, it's a bummer to look forward to an album arriving and then getting something that's ruined! Takes the air out of your sails)

    Yes I've heard nothing but good things about their customer service. I'm sure it will be fine. Just a bit of a hassle and disappointment

    R in Philly arrived today.
    Side A has a slight warp to it, but after one listen it did not seem to impact the playback. Sounds pretty solid, lacks some low end punch tho.
    Side B of the 7" is just pressed dead wax, correct? I started to listen but gave up after around 1 minute.
    The book is awesome, great pics.

    I received a package that was literally bent in half from poor handling during the shipping process. Emailed Third Man with pics and they replaced it completely. I did have to send it back on my dime, but well worth it. Great customer service on their end!
