msg 9-11-98 is the best setlist ever to me. also the vic 07 and bonnaroo 08 are good shows if ya like the rare songs. another show thats always been a stand out to me is 4-12-94 just for the simple fact the road crew made up the setlist or parts of it. jones beach 3 00 is another setlist that stands out to me
Ron: I just don't feel like going out tonight
    Sammi: Wanna just break up?

All those shows you just mentioned are amazing.. and as we all know... "SIZE ISNT EVERYTHING" but I have a hard time putting 9-11-98 ( and we all know how amazing of a show it was no doubt and everything) or even Jones beach 2000 in the list of BEST SETLISTS ever however based on length and encores... The shows from 2003 on just have this unpredictability to them and specifically the encores and the 2nd encores and length over all that I just dont think can be topped by the earlier shows... I know a TON OF PEOPLE will disagree with me on this but and i def Understand BOTH sides of the argument but ... i mean

What did 9-11-98 MSG or 8 25 00 Jones beach have that 7-8-03 MSG didnt have? 7-8-03 was longer more songs.. BABA Indifference with Ben harper again Sonic Reducer BREATH Floor shaking evolution CROWN OF THORNS... just unreal

you said size isnt everything and then you go on saying 9-11 and jones beach werent that great cause of the length of the show :? the topic was best setlist not length or encores. i could throw out limelight 92 or seattle 00 for best setlist but i chose to go somewhat against the norm

9-11 to me sticks out cause the setlist for at the time was amazing and the band was tight and enjoying the crowd and the breath campaign by the crowd is legendary. jones beach to me is just unreal the band hardly played any hits and played alot rare songs and ed was loving the crowd and everything.

the msg shows are ok. they stand out cause the band played a bit longer. sonic reducer is a meh song, only good thing was tony from the buzzcocks came out and played with pj. baba is another meh cover to me at this point. the stage shook cause its raised off the floor a little bit, congrats on being the 4th band to do it.. crown of thorns was cool and mike nailed the song. i was there and had chills.how many times ya gonna bring ben out for indifference.

i gave my 2 cents on a cool thread and get questioned for my choices of setlists whatever
