    OK, ctvedhead's post about the Motel 6 made me reconsider. So I went to Hotwire and ended up in the Sheraton for $49.

    Would still like to pre-show party though. Planning anything downtown, or just tailgating?

    thanks for the suggestions! the person i called earlier is apparently a bitch because my friend called and she got the same person. she said they didnt have a room available, but my friend went online and she booked a room with her credit card to spite the motel 6 chick. so, i guess we have a room now there's not much we can do now but to get there and hopefully not look like 19 year olds. if not, a pjammer can come help us right? like, go up and say "hey im so and so give me my room" and pretend to be us so we can get in? id say that i'll repay you by getting you a beer but id have that same problem at a bar :D

    sorry for the randomness of this post but i want to share, i am seeing pj in msg one night, hartford, and mansfield this year. i have this strange feeling (don't know why, really) that the hartford show is going to be absolutely amazing. i have a feeling that we are really going to get a unique setlist with some sweet rareties or uncommon tunes. i also feel it will be a long show .. don't ask why .. i think i may just be fucking out of my skull .. but i got that weird revelation today. i've been more psyched for hartford than msg and mansfield this week just because of this odd gut feeling i've had. hopefully it comes true! cheers.

    you're not the only one. for some reason, i have this feeling that with the motel 6 partying and tailgate parties and what not before and after, the hartford concert is just going to be a blast. not only that but, like you, i just have this strange feeling that something majorly awesome is going to happen at hartford!

    getting reservation tickets for the Mansfield show the next night makes me excited for Hartford even more !!!!

    Looking forward to the great PJ weekend of the summer of 2008

    Sounds like the pre-party at the bar Steve Dunne is putting together is going to be a great beginning to the weekend

    Do I bring cans or bottles with me to Hartford? I could probably fit more cans than bottles in my vehicle, and they can be crushed up nice and small for the recycling guy. However, one could argue that bottles are much "classier"...

    i'm really looking forward more to these two back to back shows than the MSG shows i just think a wekend show just has more of a let loose energy ,so yeah the meet up & after party should be classic ...
