Was in for about the first 5 vaults in Canada, and never paid any extra fees when delivered or after. Not sure if it's changed, but that was my experience from a few years back.

Thanks for the info. Were they shipped Fedex too?
For the vaults I believe it was United states Postal and than onto Canada Post and there were no extra charges.
Crap, looks like its Fedex now so expect to pay close to $30 extra now.

  • Ordered a copy with the 10C coupon and one copy as a Vault subscriber. I got the shipping confirmation for the 10C copy, not for the one under the TMR Vault subscription. Anybody in the same situation?

Only ever had to pay import tax once with the TMR vaults when they marked it too high on the customs form. They can usually mark it low and justify the rest of the cost as being the subscription for your 3 months.

This is shipping early, I wonder if it is a drive to get more regular subscribers by trying to appeal to 10c members. First the discount now shipping early. TMR service puts 10c to shame. Only complaint is their UK postage price in the store is outrageous.

I got an invoice from FedEx on my doorstep the other day, with an invoice attached for $50.00 item value and $22.00 freight (Canadian dollars, hence the difference) for the TMR Vault. Not exactly sure what I'm intended to do with it - any ideas?

For this vault! Yea Fedex are sneaky bitches, they often deliver the packages with no bill and your like "sweet" then couple weeks later they will send you a bill. Never had one before the shipment though.
If its for this vault how much do they want? Now that you have the info on the bill i'd go and self clear it then it'll only cost 12% of the item so about $6.

It was said that they used to be shipped USPS though? Fedex will pretty much always charge you, even if its just a brokerage fee, theyre bastards.

I have a TMR subscription and have yet to receive any email. I see they just tweeted that they started shipping. Last name (B). Hopefully I won't have to wait too long. I'm really excited for this.

It probably deserves its own thread, but for people who have not been in TMR's vault before:

The 45 will be sealed inside the LP. When you open your box and see the padded envelope with the pin and book and the 12" and don't see the 45, Its sealed in the record.

I feel like theres gonna be 10 threads asking/panicking.

Love the reverse order thing. Means mine got shipped out already :) The FedEx thing is a bummer. Couriers make money on assessing brokerage so they never miss a package. Unlike USPS to Canada Post who let all sorts of stuff slide.

They have a video of this being pressed on twitter. Not a fan of split color LPs so hopefully it's not noisy at the color crossover. Had that problem before. Think I must have some Direct to acetate stuff before but does anyone know what to expect from the sound?

It takes them a few weeks to get through them all. And with this one being their most popular Vault, I wouldn't be surprised if it takes them until the end of September to get through them all.
