It was awesome seeing you at Wrigley and you are a huge inspiration for me and my family. We all get mired down at times with this crazy ride we we call life. Your words really struck a chord (no pun intended) with me last night and what a great motto to try and live your life by:

“How we choose to feel is how we are and I feel fucking awesome" - Steve Gleason

If everyone got up and said this to themselves every day, the world would be a better place.

    Couldn't be better said. Was an extremely emotional moment that just completely captivated the audience last night. Steve Gleason continues to be an absolute inspiration to many lives out there. Amazing moment that I am extremely happy to had been a part of.

    :clap: Seeing him introduce Inside Job was definitely one of the highlights from Night One. Coming on the heels of having just watched Gleason last weekend, it brought tears to my eyes.

    I was in tears, such a beautiful powerful moment, it was the most significant aspect of Wrigley 1 for me.

    So, I happened to stumble across this tonight (looking for tour news) and found this post.  I got pretty emotional seeing this as it's only 5 1/2 years later and I'm in my own personnel fight of my life (same cancer as Steve Jobs...).  I just wanted to say that Steve Gleason has helped me out tremendously with my own fight and now more than ever continues to inspire me.  IDK I just feel like I wanted to acknowledge this man after seeing this as it's been a tough day...Probably still one of the highlights of my Pearl Jam career seeing Steve introduce Inside Job at Wrigley.  Take care and have a great weekend - Chip
