It would be more accurate to say I like the following equally: Pearl Jam/NIN/Bruce in first place, and 2nd place is The Cure/Patti Smith
    R.i.p. Rigoberto Alpizar.
    R.i.p. My Dad - May 28, 2007
    R.i.p. Black Tail (cat) - Sept. 20, 2008

I'm surprised people are still fans of tool. I used to love them. Seen them over 10 times. They're lack of new material is just something I can't get behind anymore. They tour randomly and play the saMe 9 song setlist to fund their side projects. It's frustrating to the point that it actually made me hate them. It seems Maynard has a complete lack of interest towards tool

I could be wrong. But, I thought I heard that their label has them locked up in some sort of legal battle for the past number of years. They tried to fuck the man, but kind of got fucked in the process...not sure on that one, however.

Pearl Jam is my 2nd favorite...

Neil Young is my #1... his catalog is unrivaled... although I don't travel as much to see Neil, I really only see him locally

I was getting ready to say the same thing.

Currently Dinosaur Jr is my first favorite band and Suicide is my second favorite. Not too many years ago, my answer would have been completely different. My tastes are variable over time.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of
arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to
slide in sideways, BBQ sandwich in one hand, cold beer in the other,
body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "Woo Hoo what a
    ride"!

Like many others, I find it hard to quantify my love of other bands, so I'll go with the band that I'm most likely to see live as often as I can, other than Pearl Jam. They're a local Boston band, but they are really, really good.
