Curious to see what bands everyone likes!
For me it's System of a Down and Pink Floyd

    Pffft! Do NOT limit me.

Probably more on ski-bum's side of things.

    And my beloved Beatles.

    And...and...

Alright, got a shit and shot-load of seconds.

Toss Mozart in there too - such is the beauty of music that continues to hit me hard, right here.

They were first since Tattoo You came out. What a side 2 . love that record Love You Live kills. My brush with greatness? Mick Jagger on his 40th birthday. I just turned 50.

I'm surprised people are still fans of tool. I used to love them. Seen them over 10 times. They're lack of new material is just something I can't get behind anymore. They tour randomly and play the saMe 9 song setlist to fund their side projects. It's frustrating to the point that it actually made me hate them. It seems Maynard has a complete lack of interest towards tool

We've had the humbling pleasure of seeing Tool live three times.

No new material? No matter to me. I love what I've been given - and that's enough for me :)

Every time Tool comes out with a disc i play it to death.
They're doing four shows in October. Rumors of a tour and new album.

btw: NIN puts on the highest energy shows I've ever seen.

I started a classical music thread a while back in the "Other Music" forum. My son's a classical musician, so I've had quite an education. The Sibelius violin concerto is a scorcher.

But, second-favorite band? That's either The Church or... Pearl Jam. It depends on the day. The Church has been a major part of my life for over thirty years.

I don't have a single second favorite. More a rotation of bands over the years who have held that spot.

DMB, The Black Crowes, Counting Crows, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Bruce Springsteen, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Guns N' Roses...all at different times have been the band who got the second most amount of my attention.

Pearl Jam. They are also my first. They take spots 1-100. If I have to tell you 101, I guess the Rolling Stones.
