All The Way - Who Will Join Eddie On Stage?

This might be more so for the die hard Cub fans on the board. When PJ plays All The Way the two nights, who is joining him on stage? Last time they played in one of my most memorable experiences ever at Wrigley, Ernie joined him.

Kerry Wood?

  • Wow good call, wasn't even thinking of Kerry, but that is now who makes the most sense. Big fan and I know he's been at many shows with EV shoutouts, including St. Louis 2014 and Alpine 03.

Uh, yeah they would. The White Sox "rivalry" with the Cubs is based on White Sox fans dislike for Cubs fans. It really isn't about the teams. And, in the early 90s the two teams never played each other.

Now, if he wore a Cardinals hat in the early 90s that would be a different story.

    Easy shot - Wood

Not too long a shot: Theo Epstein... Rod Beck can't be up to much these days, right?

    Long Shot: Ryno, Maddux

Deep Cut: Lee Smith or Dennis Eckersley (both played for Cubs and Red Sox)

Grace would be cool, one of my favorites from the 90s, right behind Dawson and Ryno...

Unfortunately Rod Beck is not an option, if that happens it would be the biggest news of the night by far (RIP Shooter).

No embarrassment there.. I actually heard about it on the radio a few years ago and it sparked the memory. For some reason it didn't stick in my mind either from back when it happened.

Rod Beck was a pretty awesome guy from what I've read / heard, and his ending was a sad one.

Some good has come out of it though.

On a much lighter note: guests at Wrigley......

Theo wouldn't surprise me, they had him onstage in Boston many years ago.

I'm the same. Die hard Sox fan but do not hate the Cubs. However, F the Twins, Indians, Tigers and Royals in no particular order.

And staying true to the thread, my good friend does the video work for the Cubs scoreboards and other things like Blackhawks TV. He showed me a sneak peak of the video homage that Theo and Eddie commissioned him to create to Go All the Way, and as a Sox fan, I will say it gave me the chills. But he didn't say if it would be used for the shows or game broadcasts.
