I think my favorite one so far is the State College, Pennsylvania - 05-03-03

    Amazing show.

I recently discovered the greatness of New York 2 2003

it's better than the first night.

awesome setlist, the energy is just incredible. listen to "corduroy" for example

It's not my favorite but 11-30-05 Curitiba, Brazil - Pedreira Paulo Leminsky is an amazing show. The whole band is on fire from the start. Mike does a little solo thing in the beginning. Then Eddie starts up Interstellar Overdrive and Corduroy rises up out of the ending, great segue. Lots of energy, great setlist, awesome show.

Excellent, MSG2 03 was a better boot than night 1. Corduroy, SOLAT and Nothingman are memorable. Night 1 Eddie sounded tired and was out of breathe. I mean he was blown away by Ben Harper. Not a knock to Ben Harper, but Eddie usually does better. And he does, Night 2.

    Also

    Albany 06 (great sound)
Grand Rapids 06 (great crowd, also boasts the best WWS of the tour)
    Pistioa 06

  • I still love Soldier Field July 95. I think it's because it's the first real bootleg I first heard when I really started to get into PJ 11-12 years ago. I was floored. I guess it's like your first love, you'll always remember it. Still listen to songs from it on a daily basis.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me.
  • There are many awesome PJ boots. 2005 and 2006 had so many great shows. If I had to only pick one I would pick Torino 2006. That show is mind blowingly awesome.

Some of the others would be
    Gorge 2005
    London 2005
    Philly 2005
    Thunder Bay 2005
    Mexico 2005
    Berlin 2006
    Bern 2006
    Camden Night 2 2006
    Milan 2006
    Newcastle 2006
    Santa Barbara 2006
    Vienna 2006
    Vitoria 2006
    Praha 2000
    Pittsburgh 2000
    Milan 2000

    I guess I have a few.
My first PJ show to witness was at Bonnaroo. How is that for lucky?

If 9-24-05 was night 2 of St. Johns, I agree. That was a good boot. the opening band on RITFW was the best version of the last few tours.

probably my favorite, but it seems like every show from the 05 tour had great setlists
i am listening to 8/25/00 jones beach for the first time now, which is apparently a great fucking show. we'll see.

in general i'll take any show from 2000. that was their best tour. although i kinda like the 95/96 shows with ed's shot voice.

Interesting. I love the shows from the 2003 tour. I think McCready was on fire that tour. Although Philly 2000 is probably one of my favorites.
