Atlantic Canada 2017?

Probably much ado about nothing, but this morning a local radio dj said he heard a rumour that Pearl Jam was going to be playing on Prince Edward Island. No date or anything and he said it was just a rumour, but thought I would share.

While it seems highly unlikely given the population and location, there are two rather underused out door venues. One being the site of the annual Cavendish Beach Music Festival which can hold approx. 40,000 - 60,000 people:

The other is the Charlottetown event grounds which holds approx. 20,000 - 25,000 people.

Again, highly unlikely but it is not everyday that Pearl Jam is mentioned as playing in the region and even more rare that they would be linked to this Province.

I don't think anyone ever imagined they'd play Telluride so I'd say anything is possible at this point.

A cross Canada tour starting in the East and going west and then ending in Hawaii around Nov. would be perfect.
