Just now noticing the detail on the inside of these caps, pretty cool. Looks like Wrigley has the ivy with yellow brick distance #, and Red Sox has the Green Monster.

I just realized something... There's going to be 7 hats for these shows. That's SEVEN different hats!!!

    WTF?!?

Well, do we want more merch or don't we?

I get why they went adjustable, but god the snapback is such an abomination to baseball caps. 39Thirty is the only way to go IMO.

    Just bend it...haha

That doesn't solve the fitted vs. snapback problem....

True, but fitted would be much harder to sell.

If this was a fitted hat I would buy it in a second and it would instantly become my favorite hat! Pearl Jam + the Cubs = awesome! I'm just not going to wear the same style of hat I wore in little league with plastic buckles.

People on here are crazy. The sticker can be removed and the bill will bend. Buy any MLB 59/50 cap in a team shop and they have stickers and a flat bill.
    This is a proper cap:

That's a cap for a human-shaped head. Why is the new style made for blockheads? Are there really so many people with square shaped heads these days? Evolution? Hipster? Gangsta?
The low crowns are great. I bought a Mariners one when I was in Seattle.
It's apparent we're getting that style because that's what Jeff wears. Not a fan of the style, but whatever. And you're right, low crowns are the best. And if you don't pull the sticker off, and you're found wearing it that way at the show, you should be kicked out.
I rock the straight brim with the sticker. See u at the show!
I got you all beat. I never take the tags off any of my clothing! My pants still have the little clear strip that says 35/32 35/32 35/32 35/32 down one leg and the price tag in my asscrack
    Exactly. Lol.

Not sure if you mean hardcore for or hardcore against, but my biggest complaint (other than looking hideous) is simply that they're cheaply made and crack over time.

I only wear 47 Brand franchise hats! But being that the Cubs & PJ are my two favorite things in life, I had to get one of these at least as a souvenir.

It's really hard for me to justify paying $40 for a hat but it's hard to resist a sox pearl jam hat.

It's the standard price for New Era hats for a while now, so I didn't hesitate to put an order for the cubs hat since I am attending the Wrigley shows. Easy decision since I have a ton of baseball caps, and have been used to spending $39 for them.

Just noticed its going to be a while before I get my hat, as I placed the order with the Mother Love Bone Re-Issue. Damn. I guess I won't have it in time for the Wrigley shows.

The black ones are back on the New Era site with free shipping on order of $50+. I would guess only a couple left before they disappear again.

Truth! '47 franchise are my absolute favorite. They are just so much more comfortable than pretty much any other type. I do like to try them on before buying because it seems the same size can run a little different, but it does seem that has gotten better recently.

Agreed. Flat bills and huge boxy fats are the worst. 47 brands are the best hats period.

I'm on the fence about both New Era and 47. Yes, New Era can feel like wearing a cardboard box and they look somewhat ridiculous, but 47 the crowns are too low..I was at the Baseball Hall of Fame this weekend and wanted a retro style hat and couldn't find a 47 hat that fit just right. The right circumference-wise hat was too low in the crown, the right-height crown was too wide to firmly stay on my head. Some of the most form-fitting hats I have are actually Reebok flex-fit hats.

There will be a bunch of us making the trip from Detroit as well. Staying on Halstead about 3-5 blocks from the stadium. No doubt I'll be in the merch line at least one day, but looking to mingle with some fellow Jammers the rest of the time. Love the camaraderie these events have. I'll PM you my number too. Really want to get a few souvenir cups from Murphy's, so that may end up being my home base. Can't wait for these shows.
