    Pearl Jam

    The Grateful Dead

These three probably hit home the most for me. Plus each of their live catalogs are massive which makes EVER at little more interesting

Headstones are a punk rock band that were very popular in canada in the 90's. Broke up in 2003, reformed for a benefit show for a dying friend, and have been back together ever since (although the drummer recently quit and they have also added a second guitarist). Oddly enough, very close to the plot of Hard Core Logo, one of the first movies lead singer Hugh Dillon did (he is also the star of Flashpoint, Durham County, and some others) and went to highschool with the Tragically Hip). www.headstonesband.com

Watchmen are a standard rock band, also very popular in the 90's, often played with The Hip, heavily influenced by REM. Broke up in 2004, But still play sporadically. Have recorded and released (for free) two new songs, and also an acoustic show they recorded in australia in their heyday. On their website under media. www.the-watchmen.com
