Same hear...I believe you're the only one on the board that's seen them live before me. I actually knew who they were!

I saw them only a few months before you, but like i said I had no idea what I was about to witness when I went there, it was already exciting enough to sneak in to that club with my cousin and his friends :D

Dave A wasn't with them yet when I saw them, but little did I know that the most exciting thing that night would be seeing Ed sing Garden, that song played in my head for days and I was in love with Pearl Jam....

Great stuff...life altering experience. I was a huge RHCP fan and they headlined those shows. I just got into Ten when I went back to school (yes college, I was 21!) in Sept that year. Highlights for me were Ed singing Funky Crime, his stagedives, and climbing all over the place.

New York was a short set, I was just in awe, it was my first concert it was so exciting and Ed came up on stage and I don't remember drooling all over the place but he was like magnetic, if you know what I mean... I was like magic.. LOL (I know that's got to be the corniest statement ever) but i dont know how to explain how mesmerized I was...

Funny thing is that my cousin who was 21 at that time as well knew who they were and was excited to see them that night and now no longer has a clue as to what they've released and in turn I'm the PJ freak - LOL :D

well there was one of the nights (i can't remember what city) that security were real tight with the cellphones and they warned a few people that they would be kicked out if they didn't put the phones away, so given that there is no relayer with such a big crowd that might be the case as well.

True! I didn't go to any of the solo shows, so that may be the case. I just get excited to come back from the gym and check out the board. Its the little things in life. I'm sure we will know by tomorrow. I still can't believe they would be so big on that stuff. Someone in the Gallery should send it. lmao
  • So... my buddy called me and he said that there is no reception in the theatre... hence that is why there is no relayer tonight... howevery I about shit myself after he told me what Eddie played so far...

Walking the Cow, Trouble, SHIP SONG!, HURT (TRENT COVER), Sometimes, & Man of the Hour...

I'll continue to post if I hear anything else... I'll be there tomorrow... Can't wait...

EDIT: is that the Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds cover? My husband seems to remember that.

It's a Nick Cave cover that was played once at Red Rocks in '95. However, it was stopped about half way through...

Those guys are getting a wicked show.... :)
  • Think Ed saw this post from the "Ed in Milwaukee" thread?

Trent Reznor's done it. Several times. Kicked the keyboard over and walked off. Now people shut up and listen during Hurt. Ed should drop the guitar and walk off. Seriously. Its how you teach toddlers to behave - the fun stops when they misbehave. People are acting like toddlers and maybe deserve that treatment. I'd feel bad for the fact that its a few bad apples, but maybe its the only way.

Edited to add: Not that I think he peeps this board, cuz I don't. But weird coincidence no?

I think so... Sometimes and Man of the Hour may be switched around. He said that Eddie said "someone requested Long Road... but he was going to play Man of the Hour instead."

I'll keep you updated if I hear anything else, but as I said before... he doesn't get service inside the theatre... He had to walk outside the seated area...
