You know you can play every single NES game on your phone right?
True, it is nice. but the way many games are, it is unplayable on the screen and with the controls on the screen like they are. Hy wrists/hands also start to hurt playing on the phone for too long. Not to mention notifications, battery life, etc...
are you guys signed up for the nowinstock notifications?
I already bought mine, but I get a few of those notifications a week.
Is it legit?
Yeah, they are legit. I have used them a few times in the past For this, and also for a PS4 a few years ago I have had 2 notifications this week via text (I havent turned them off yet), and saw a buy button, and in one case, out of curiosity, was able to get one in my cart and go to checkout.
A month or so ago, because their notification, I was able to score 2, one for me, and one for a friend.
If you are stateside and happen to get a notification please buy it for me.

Anyone else get one? I finally did. I follow Slickdeals on twitter, which is how I found out yesterday.
i logged in and decided to click on this thread randomly.. somehow that was a minute after someone posted it's on amazon. My neighbors will now receive a sick wedding gift from this guy
At the moment, I am working on mine to install a total of 662 games
Huh?!? Same video post? Please share.
It is the same hack... but they updated/upgraded the software to be capable to pack more games on there. Also, new features, like a 'hotkey' can be programmed on your controller to emulate the 'Reset' button (such as down and select). It also will find a patch for the ROMs and automatically Google the box art and metadata.
I set it up last night and it went off without a hitch.
So can I tell you that my blood pressure is up after playing this!!!
I forgot how unresponsive the remotes are.
Still a lot of damn fun!!!
I found the NES Mini Classic pads to be much more stiff than the original controls. Maybe because theyre brand new.
It's not that. It's just like how I remembered playing. You press the damn jump button and Mario doesn't jump and instead he slides off into a hole and you die... Then you throw remote at wall. Pick up remote and repeat.

This is so true And even if the jump was a success you always had a goomba waiting in to make you die in case your landing was less than a hairstrand width away. I hate goombas.
Yeah, my timing for many of those games seems off. Perhaps I need to adjust my TV setting or something.
Is it your timing or was the game actually made like that? I remember saying, as well as others saying "the game cheats". Meaning that when you press the jump button the damn thing doesn't jump.
You definitely need to slow down whilst playing these.

There are def times where you press a button and nothing happens. That really makes you want to chuck the controller across the room! haha

Input lag perheps?
I don't know for sure. I have my TV set to play it under the "game mode" setting. I use this on all of my systems whereby shutting off or bypassing the TVs processor and causing lag (PS3, PS4, Switch all work perfect). There just seems to be a timing thing. Maybe...just maybe, that I'm so used to new games and their super-responsiveness to input and the NES was that way all along...haha Gonna tinker around with the setting and see if that helps.

I might actually bring over some other people to try this out...

Here is the video I used
The link for Hakchi2 is under the video, and a comment at the top provides the ROM set.

I can only imagine what I'll be able to do in Mike Tyson's punchout...
